Arsenal have announced news regarding two sponsorship deals, with Europcar confirmed as the club’s official car and van rental partner for the coming season.

The Gunners have agreed a three-year deal with Europe’s leading car rental company, according to the Daily Mail and as part of the agreement, Europcar’s branding will display in the Emirates during Premier League and domestic cup matches.

An interesting aspect of the deal is that the company will be providing Arsenal supporters with travel to away games throughout the season.

Europcar’s Managing Director Ken McCall explained the benefits of the agreement, he said: “This is a tremendously exciting partnership for Europcar. It gives us fantastic branding opportunities within the UK, and also reaching millions of football fans who follow the Premier League throughout the world.

“As well as promoting the Europcar global brand message, ‘Moving Your Way’, the partnership also gives us access to the players and player imagery for our own promotional activity.

“As the official car and van rental partner of Arsenal, we can help fans travelling to away games with convenient and cost-effective mobility solutions, as well as bring the benefits of our comprehensive range of services tailored to the needs of business and leisure users.

“We are confident that this relationship will enable us to significantly increase reservations as well as raise the bar on our engagement with both consumer and business customers.”

Arsenal have also an extension to the deal they have with Indesit, the leading home appliance brand.

Indesit extension confirmed

The club have agreed a three-year partnership renewal with the company after they first became a partner back in 2011.

Arsenal’s Sales and Marketing Director revealed his delight at the deal to the official club website, he said: “We are delighted that Indesit will continue its association with Arsenal Football Club for a further three years.

“We work hard as a club to develop long-term relationships with all of our partners and we are extremely proud to be an important part of Indesit’s long-term strategic plans.

“This extension will allow us to grow and strengthen our relationship even further and continue to develop new ideas which reach and engage those who have a passion for football."

Whilst Indesit’s Group Marketing Executive Director Neil Tunstall added: “We are extremely pleased about this important renewal with Arsenal Football Club.

“It signals a great challenge for Indesit Company who strongly believe that sponsorships provide a fertile terrain for engagement - not simply a way to boost brand visibility."
