The Daily Mail are today reporting that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is weighing up whether or not he should offload Jack Wilshere to Liverpool.

Arsenal boss Wenger was again, defending Wilshere last week following a new release of photographs in which the midfielder was caught with a pipe in his hand.

Wilshere has struggled for fitness over the last few campaigns. He has been out injured for the majority of the last four seasons, picking up injuries every few games and it seems that he has not been fully fit for some time.

According to the source, Arsenal have slapped a price tag of around £25million on the England international and it appears Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool are interested in a deal. Liverpool are set to lose their star in Steven Gerrard as he heads for LA Galaxy in the MLS, and it is rumoured that they are considering a move for Wilshere as a replacement.

Wenger given price for Verratti

Arsenal have also been given an astronomical fee of around £40million they would need to fork out if they are to sign PSG’s Marco Verratti.

The Gunners have reportedly been interested in making a top quality signing to add to Arsenal’s midfield however, if they want to capture Verratti, it will cost them a huge amount.

It is reported that Wenger is a keen admirer of the midfielder however his form and promise has attracted interest for teams across Europe. It is believed that Serie A champions Juventus are interested in acquiring his services. Verratti’s recent form has also pushed him into the Italian squad, receiving 10 caps for the international side.

Wenger mustnt sell any player. He must put his tail between his legs and shy away of Emirates and make room for Pep the Great to take over and reign success and bring trophies to the cabinet that has been used to rats and dust

If he sells Jack,it could be seen as an admission that our back room staff and fitness regime is outdated, wrong and needs change.Lets face it our injury record and recovery times are a real mystery.this club needs fresh blood through out, bigger fitter players who don't fear the battle, not these lightweight maybes he keeps buying, Wenger should not sell anyone, just leave at the end of this season proud of his achievements and let us bring a new man with fresh ideas and a new back room team.!!

Sell Wilshere and get someone else please. For the past 3 seasons what has he contributed? His injury has nothing to do with the physio but his inexperienced style of play and fitness level during off season. I want Wenger to get a natural box -2-box player in the mould of Ginter, kramer or even Matuidi. We have too many of the wilshere. Even Song is there. He knows the team philosophy and has learnt from his mistakes. He is more defensive now. To our defence is about time we get some tall and aggresive defenders.

Another Arsenal player with a log term injury problem, it seems that he will always be wary of someone targeting him. This makes him vunerable to the team. Unless he can overcome the injury mentally and physically, then perhaps it is time to sell him. Maybe another team with better physo will resolve his problems. I have no faith in the current physos at Arsenal, just look at our injury record. Whatever Jack decides, good luck to him he has been a staunch Arsenal player who plays for the club with all his heart

I belief Arsenal made some money following victory in FA - Cut win. Why can't Wenger use this money to bring in players especially in the first six of the flied. Central defense i.e. 4,5 and 6 are numbers that need more support. The from half [7 to 11] should however, not be offloaded or be added to. It is not time to let Wilshere go and especially to Liverpool. Wenger needs to do more of Multiplication and Additions than Subtraction and Division.
