Arsenal are looking to bounce back quickly from that crushing defeat to North London rivals, Tottenham at the weekend. The Gunners have a great chance to do so with a midweek tie against Leicester. Leicester are currently bottom in the Premier League and come at a good time for Arsenal who look to up their confidence again.

Injury news

Alexis is back in the squad and could feature against Leicester, spoke Wenger today:

"Alexis will be back in the group and we don’t have any injuries from Saturday."

Sanchez missed the defeat to Spurs on Saturday but is said to be keen to get back into the team.

Arsenal are still without long term injuries, Mathieu Debuchy (shoulder) and Mikel Arteta who is still out for some time.

The Gunners will have to face Leicester without midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who is still a few weeks off returning:

"Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is about two weeks [away from returning]."

Fans will be happy to know Jack Wilshere has returned to full training today. It will be some time until he is back however and will not feature tomorrow:

"He’s back in full training this week. I don’t know exactly [how long until he returns], we have to monitor him on a daily basis and see how he develops."

Team Shape

I wouldn’t expect many changes for tomorrow’s game at the Emirates.

Ospina should still be between the sticks while the back four will presumably be unchanged.

Coquelin will almost certainly partner Ramsey in midfield as it has been working well up until last week. Cazorla will play in a more advanced midfield role and I would assume Ozil will start out on the left.

It’s a toss-up for who will play on the right. My gut feeling is that Alexis will get the nod tomorrow to start. He has been a shining star in a tricky season for Arsenal however if you see Walcott on the starting list don’t be surprised. Olivier Giroud will almost definitely be up front.

Expected line-up

Ospina; Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs; Coquelin, Cazorla, Ramsey; Walcott, Ozil, Giroud

If Cazorla is given room to work his magic and no pressure is put on Ozil, this should be a comfortable win. With the power on the bench for Arsenal such as Rosicky, Walcott and Welbeck, we have enough depth off the field to change the game if we need to. Arsenal should simply just have too much quality for Leicester.

I wish Wenger considers covering the attacking midfield with the likes of Ozil, Cazorla, Risicky on addition to that single defending midfielder Francis - C. Let the attacking line be composite of these hard, speeding and fighting machines like:- Alexis, Walcot and Giroud. About defense no choice because it is totally unreliable and unpredictable.

Sincerely Wenger, should learn from the past mistakes and victories he committed and attained respectively. The team to be played should not be under looked, it will try it's best so as to survive relegation. It is now upon Wenger and players to do there best. The shifting of Per from his central role to cover up the right back is the worst issue and the most contributing thing to Arsenal's losses. We expect that when an outside defender overlaps especially number 2, along No. 7, then No 7 must be in position to cover up No. 8, and No 8 drops to No 6 as No 6 get to central defense letting No 4 covers down to No. 3. But not No. 5 [Per] to do this role, may be if he is the one playing No.4

No F...ing Özil on the left, how many times should this be told! I am seriously going to get pissed if this happens, and by the way, drop Ramsey, he plays like sh.t at the moment and let Rosicky play instead, who actually deserves it. A good run of games because of playing the right players in the right positions, and now back again with stupid decisions. If this really is the lineup tomorrow, then I can prove myself right about Wenger Out. I knew it, even if he got right a couple of times we just had to wait before he began again with his stupidity.

Arsenal had no biz losing to Tottenham. Wenger must learn to take advantage of an upward movement. One wonders if he intentionally works to maintain 4th place in league. Is he afraid of winning the league?

Ramsey needs a rest play Papa Rosisky. Wenger should Rosisky changes opponents match plans. His passes are superb. Why he is always benched I cannot explain. Wenger must not apply sentiments in his selection of a team. If he still has his eyes on 4th place he must bench Welbeck for some time. He is sluggish in front of goal. His sluggishness cost Arsenal that match against Tottenham.

I don't want Cazorla magic- I want runs forward and closing down fast in defence. Walcott right- Sanchez left and Ozil in the hole. Cazorla benched until the 70th. I would also like a defender in the middle who is going to fight to get a head in and a foot in. Rest Mert and let's see what the spaniard can do.

have a feeling cazorla will play deeper tomorrow, and ozil back in the middle with walcott and sanchez out wide. Abit adventurous but ramsey to me is the odd man out.
