Thierry Henry confirmed that he wouldn’t be able to say no to be the next Arsenal manager if he was offered the job.

Henry gave his thoughts when being asked on the Jonathan Ross show which will be broadcast this weekend. However, Henry knows he needs to learn and has a lot of work to do first.

"Being the manager of Arsenal FC would be a dream. I need to learn first. That is the most important thing."

Although, he did admit he doesn’t know what Arsene Wenger wants to do;

"I don't know what Arsene wants to do and how long he wants to stay," "But I just want to be equipped...to be in the position, maybe one day to be a manager.

Henry was then quizzed by Ross about what he would do if he was offered the job by the Arsenal hierarchy which Henry responded by saying;

“I could not say 'no' to Arsenal," he said. "So I would say 'yes'. It should be great.

The interview also involved being asked on his retirement as well as the racism in Paris.

This is potentially good news for Arsenal fans as I’m sure if Henry can become a very good manager Arsenal fans all over the world would welcome their returning hero home. Henry has always showed a love for Arsenal and would be a good appointment as he represents an inspirational figure to a lot of younger players.

However, not all great players make good managers so it would be a risk especially if this was his first job in management.
