After wrapping up Petr Cech in an Arsenal strip, Arsene Wenger has apparently made his intentions clear to add even more world-class talents to his celebrated roster given the strong interest that the London outfit have expressed in Arturo Vidal.

Freddie Ljungberg, who was a part of the famous Invincibles squad, had his share of opinion on the rumours linking the Chilean midfielder with his former club.

He lauded the aggression that Juventus powerhouse exhibits and added that his presence would prove to be great for the Emirates Stadium club.

Alexis Sanchez has been phenomenal since his move from Barcelona last summer, but the former Swedish international claimed that Arsenal should have snapped him up five years ago. He also admitted his admiration for the former Barcelona striker.

“There were some rumours about Arturo Vidal, a great player, and he gets fuming if he loses the ball, so I like that. That kind of player would be great for the club," said the 38-year-old midfielder.

“Look at Alexis Sanchez. After the World Cup in South Africa I said I wanted us to buy him when he was at Udinese. He is quality but he also works hard as well. He has speed. When he loses the ball he still fights for it and that’s what I like to see.”

If the Arturo Vidal rumours does culminate in the Chilean teaming up with his national teammate and close associate Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal could become serious title challengers given the fact that they already boast one of the mightiest squads in England.

Wenger should sign a top stricker . Giroud failed Arsenal . Since Thiery Henry left , Arsenal has had only experimental strikers . As an ardent fan of Arsenal , I would suggest Wenger should look at HIGUAIN , BENZEMA and Deadly Dortmund stricker PIERRE AUBAMEYANG . GIROUD on occassion can be a good finisher but his contribution in the build up to the goal is near nil .
