Arsene Wenger has now picked up a certain pattern in his transfer activity luring world-class players to his turf year in and year out.

Despite making sure that the pattern does not get arrested with the arrival of Petr Cech, the French manager may be forced to pull off one more £26million world-class signing this summer.

After spending more than a decade at the Westfalenstadion, Mario Gotze made a controversial move to arch-nemeses Bayern Munich two seasons ago. Despite the huge transfer fee and hype surrounding his move, he now finds himself at the periphery of happenings at Allianz Arena.

Volker Struth, his agent, while speaking to German newspaper Bild, slammed Pep Guardiola for limiting the chances of the former Borussia Dortmund youngster as he claimed that his client could have had a much better season, had he garnered more support from the management.

"I would have liked if Mario Gotze had felt more support in one or two situations.

I am fully convinced that when he feels this support, it is easier for him to show his incredible potential. Then he is one of the best players in the world."

Emirates Stadium has lately become the safe haven to unsung world-class talents and the 23-year-old may fancy a London move if he hankers for recognition, but it is highly unlikely that he would be allowed to leave only after two seasons in Munich.

This kind of speculation is condemned. How can a scribe write such shallow mind degreasing piece of nothing?
The writer is suggesting that anyone unhappy anywhere is Arsenal bound without them declaring interest or their current club showing willingness to at least let them off. He is pretty sure that the club bought Mario reccently and in terms of investment it wont make sense to release him now, yet he points to Arsenal's interest without even consulting with them.

You read the whole article which ends with the sentence....... but it is highly unlikely that he would be allowed to leave only after two seasons in Munich.
As the other two comments have said, what on earth is the point of this kind of speculation!

This article is pointless. There is no merit to this speculation whatsoever... This is like saying Messi is upset about xyz.... Arsenal take notice.

Useless.

This is pointless speculation on this type of situation - players who are frustrated with lack of playing time will only get more of the same at Arsenal - you have to be a quality player but you have to be a team player because Arsenal have talent everywhere so no-one is guaranteed playing time.
