Joel Campbell finally managed to make the bench against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon, but was never brought on despite the team failing miserably in front of the goal.
Tuttomercatoweb reports that the Arsenal castaway may try to push through a move away from the Emirates Stadium before the transfer window slams shut.
The 23-year-old marksman has been never able to make a mark at Arsenal thanks to visa issues, not to mention the reluctance that Arsene Wenger exhibits to give him an opportunity to do so.
The Costa Rican international, thus, found him being loaned to four clubs in as many seasons.
Arsenal faithful witnessed the departure of young strikers like Chuba Akpom and Yaya Sanogo, who have been loaned out in search of playing time.
In addition, the likes of Lukas Podolski and Ryo Miyaichi were shown the door, but no replacement has been made so far.
In the event of Joel Campbell following in their footsteps, the Gunners will be forced to make moves for either Edinson Cavani or Andriy Yarmolenko.
Real Sociedad and Palermo were reported to have tried to sign him in vain, but a transfer is clearly on the cards at the moment as the World Cup hero could be tempted by the prospect of being made an automatic starter elsewhere.

Not any more same old thing as last don't know how many seasons. This man has no ambition. Just plod along in the same old way. Thanks for nothing Wenger.
His tactics are one dimensional and he has been unable to cope with teams that park the bus.
Failure to get the gunners challenging will bring intense pressure on him.
Favorite player. I try to separate myself from being a fan vs being an observer and there are many things I see that make me question AW strategies especially in the transfer market. Firstly, why is it always down to the last few days that they do most of their business? My speculation is AW is hopeful his core team will mature and get better. He thinks the team he put on the field the previous year will have an extra year to move to the next
Level and the younger players will
step in and fill the gaps. At the same time mc, mu and cfc see area that need to be strengthened and make decisive moves to get the right player. AFC finished third over a dozen points out and look what the teams ahead of them have done. I'm am thinking the person making the comment of AW being deceptive may ring some truth. How many "transfers" have we followed the last two months and what is done? Czech! That's it and that's winning a title? Hardly! Remember
The Gunners had a very strong finish to last season and they still came up short. One or two injuries and this world class team ranked the 2nd most valuable franchise in the Prem is ding nothing to improve and now AW is saying FFP has been compromised and the Gunners can't compete. Funny that comes out now when the whole window nothing's was ever said. So AW is saying he can't find any better players what happened to the 100 million pounds he had to spend. As a Gunner fan I watch mc pick up sterling and deBruyne and cfc get Pedro and Falcao my get schneiderlin and depay and the gunners...Czech! Do any AFC fans really think we will challenge for the EPL or CL? I hope I'm wrong but I don't see it! I look at our competitors and see them built for the 'dog days' in December,January and February and again I pray I'm wrong but I don't see it happening!
We cannot ask the fans to boycott the games because the British have usually not the "balls" to step up.
Arsenal fans have been taken for a drive and for mugs for years, bug still we have record sell in shirts and people are still coming in mass to the Emirates (to watch that ***e) despite constant increase prices...
If you ask me, why would Wengef and the board change their attitude and objectives. All is good!
This club will never win the league again as long as we do not hire a coach (Wenger is not), as for the CL, let's not even bother, we are not a top club.
Enjoy the season, but all the same again.
I have cancelled my season ticket 6 years ago and it was the best move I have ever done regarding the club and myself. I don't buy the shirt every season because I am not a mug.
This guy receives £8millions/year... If you think he is worth it, you must be f*cking deluded and pathetically hopeless... And it is sad, because nothing will change until that fool leaves.
Another massive mistake was to allow Kroenke to become majoritarian shareholders. A good piece of business may be, but a mistake sport wise (all his franchises can deliver results).
He will sell his parts in the club at some point because if is ridiculous and hopefully a true sportsman will collect and make us Barcelona like...
No need to answer that - it goes without saying. Wenger is a total waste of space in the transfer market.
