Arsenal were tipped to land their long-term target in Karim Benzema all summer by the European media, but the striker cleared the cloud stating that Santiago Bernabeu is his home. English media outlet Metro, however, now claims that the Gunners would again attempt to make Emirates Stadium his new home.

Real Madrid have time and again reiterated that they would opt against selling the French striker at all costs as they would then be left without even a single out-and-out world-class centre-forward.

No team that challenges for the Champions League trophy would dare to offload their prized asset, no matter how astronomical offer and odds are high that the 27-year-old world beater ends up playing under his compatriot in Arsene Wenger anytime soon.

As Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud finally seem to have put their goal-scoring boots on, albeit the missed chances, one can expect Arsenal stick to their boys rather than searching for a new face in the market.

The report claims that Florentino Perez is not interested in doing business with the London outfit but goes on to claim that an irresistible offer could make the former Olympique Lyonnais marksman put on the famous red and white shirt. Furthermore, the report fails to offer any clear-cut information about the amounts that will likely be involved as well as when the Arsenal would launch their offer and this pretty much explains the credibility of the article.

Next match against the SO after the mid week cl match.
The so will be fired up and Arsenal will do well to maintain the defensive resilience shown so far.
Arsenal may get Benzema but there is no guarantee he will score like Messi and Ronaldo. These two are a notch or 2 above him in over all ratings.Hell for all you know if Wenger were to unleash Sonogo and the latter starts scoring week and week out,the French super star will soon be forgotten.
However I doubt Wenger will take such a gamble because the stakes for winning/losing are so high.

When is arsenal reporters are going to wake up from their dreams of all these sick and disgusting reports on strickers?.Is better to stop disturbing the fans with this! Or better still find another topic to write on.This one did in summer was futile and you are still continuing posting crambs, when you have already knew our dogmatic and ever nagging manager won't do anything until we bade him farewell and then relief will come.

Arsenal is a balance team. but what we lack is the finishing aspect. theo walcoth is not suppose to be at arsenal. with thew kind of football arsenasl played. a good or average striker can get 20 or 25 goals a season. walcoth or giroud can not create, giroud is not too bad, but walcoth is not good enough neither.

Quoting Wolfgang:
Arsenal could have scored at least 5/6 goals. The thing is the word clinical has been consigned to the dustbin.I aint an expert but ,imho,it looks like the passing has been reduced which is good.
Chelsea who like to pass like Arsenal incessantly were undone by the quicksilver Everton attack. Hopefully when the gunners next meet Chelsea,AW would have finally get rid of the Indian sign of the so.

Next weekend my friend
