It that time of year again which means rumours will be about every second of every day and today is no different. Within the last hour the latest rumour circulating is a bid which has apparently been submitted for Dortmund striker Aubameyang.

If the details are correct then this bid seems to be around 60 million euros which is roughly £43 million.

This news is being reported by Spanish journalist Kike Marin and is well known for getting Arsenal news right with the story of Sanchez and Cech his most notable. His tweet translated in English follows

“Confirmed: @Arsenal offers € 60 M Borussia Dortmund by Aubameyang, first in the Golden boot with 18 goals.”

However, at the moment this is mere speculation which means it must be treated with caution. It is advisable to remain cautious until a more reliable source shares this same information.

The Player

Aubameyang has an impressive record at Dortmund playing 82 games scoring 47 goals which has been boosted by his incredible form this year. He is a striker which would fit into this Arsenal system as he has pace to burn and has the ability to run in behind.

If Arsenal could get this deal across the line alongside Elneny then it would represent a good January and may possible win Arsenal the league as it would be a massive boost for the football club.

As soon as there is more information we will be sure to report it.

The latest is that: he has debunk the news of him going to arsenal anytime soon. He said he is not leaving Dortmund anytime soon.

People, when did AW become that serious for me to believe in this story. Anyway maybe this time he sees EPL trophy nearer and can surprise us with some miracles.

We need the striker to win the league. We can nolonger depend on Giroud who easily goes out of form and Walcot who is struggling to hit form and is prone to injuries.
Sale the OX to Chealsea and Debutchy to Aston villa and you have that GBP 45 Million to pay for a good striker. Wenger, please retire with a smile like furgie.

Is there anyway I can help to see this deal through?

You know Brentford could offer 30m for Leo Messi if they wanted too, it means nothing, Arsene has done all this stuff before, he's signing a bang average 5m player whose no better than we've already got cos it's what he does,,got no real faith in him anymore,

Keep everything crossed! We are definitely now a club where the really good players want to come. All Wenger's previous good work - not understood by some - is now paying off. I wonder what Piers Morgan will have to say if we go from strength to strength. I doubt he would be man enough to eat some humble pie and apologize for all the vitriol he has been spewing against AW!.

Just as it is being rightly said in the passage, it is just a rumour and it should be treated as such

Would make a "good" January? if we sign Aubameyang it will be the best January transfer Arsenal have ever made!
