Red Bull Leipzig manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has confirmed that he could replace Arsene Wenger as manager of Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger’s contract at Arsenal is set to expire at the end of the current campaign and it is widely believed that the Frenchman will be ending his two decade long association with the Gunners when his current deal runs out.

It goes without saying that replacing a manager of Wenger’s stature will be a very difficult task and the club hierarchy will surely be well served by starting their search for a successor for the 67-year-old right away.

Names such as Eddie Howe, Roger Schmidt and Thomas Tuchel have been mentioned as potential targets for Arsenal and recently, the Sun had gone on to claim that Red Bull Leipzig manager Ralph Hasenhuttl is also one of the dark horses in the running for the job at the Emirates Stadium.

Hasenhuttl has clearly done a wonderful job at Red Bull since taking over this summer and under his tutelage, the newly promoted side have managed to climb up to the summit of the Bundesliga table against all odds.

As a result, the 49-year-old has managed to catch the eye of a host of top clubs across Europe and Arsenal are believed to be monitoring the Red Bull Leipzig boss at the moment.

Hasenhuttl the next Arsenal manager?

Now in sensational claims, Hasenhuttl has gone on to admit that there is some truth behind stories linking him with a move to Arsenal and then hinted that he could well consider joining the North London giants if the opportunity arises.

Hasenhuttl was quoted saying by the Sun, “It was a well-researched story. There was a lot of truth to it. I have heard of worse fates than succeeding the longest-serving manager in England.

"It's not damaging my reputation, is it? We don't have to put too much thought into [the Arsenal job]. I have found my luck here.”

Simeone may be a decent manager but he's just a hyper active maureenio,he'd spend more time watching games from hotels through touch line bans, let's go German and bring in the professionalism that goes with it, and sack that *** Walcott too,
