Arsenal ran out winners in a game which was more difficult than it should have been. This was definitely a game of two halves, Arsenal were great in the first but were poor in the second. The players looked tired and dead on their legs but hung on to a precious 3 points and keep up the momentum.

Ospina - 8 – Ospina who had a quiet first half pulled off two great saves in the second to make sure Arsenal took 3 points home.

Chambers - 6 – Chambers had a fairly quiet game on the attacking front and was okay defensively. Chambers was frustrating at times trying to dribble with the ball all of the time.

Gabriel - 7 – The match saw a return for Gabriel who had a decent game and put in a couple of key blocks and defended well for large periods.

Koscielny - 7 – Koscielny was his usual self in defence defending well and showing aggression with his team mates to get them organised.

Monreal - 6 – A fairly quiet game, good defensively and didn’t really do much attacking.

Coquelin - 8 – An excellent performance from the defensive midfielder, great pressing and tackling once again showing how vital he is to this team.

Ramsey - 7 – A good game from the Welshman looks like he may be coming back to his best with them lung busting runs.

Sanchez - 6 – A good performance but didn’t really test Krul at all, but did have a good bit of play in the first half where he set up Welbeck after a good piece of skill.

Cazorla - 6 – A quiet game and looked like he was tired, didn’t really have much influence.

Welbeck - 6 – Some good spells by Welbeck but looked tired near the end but did have a good chance after great play from Sanchez.

Giroud - 9 – A fantastic performance by the inform Frenchman. Two great headers and scored when Arsenal were on top. Giroud once again showed why he is important and now has 9 goals in 9 games.

Subs

Bellerin - N/A – Didn’t have much time to influence the game.

Rosicky - N/A – Didn’t influence the game.

Flamini - N/A – Didn’t influence the game.

Quoting Alexis21:
I am also disagree with these ratings. Neither Chambers, neither Ramsey had fine game, it was poor performance from them. Alexis did well in defence, maybe in attack he wasn't sharp, but still I can't judge him too much, because he was absolutely class. Coq was decent, but not exceptional, I think Giroud and Ospina should be MOTM. Olivier because of his goals and Ospina - his crucial saves.

I think Sanchez was awful and Ramsey was great. Man of the match was maybe Koscielny.

I totally agree with guys who disagree with the rating. MOTM should be between Koscienly, Giroud and Ospina... Ramsey was awful and Chambers was terrible, also santi and Alexxis were average and certainly need rest Paulista should be rated 5 he is simply not composed enough if not for koscienly we might have ended up drawing or losing the match and i also think welbeck is overrated he plays like someone in the League one gives ball away and delays passes and Bravo to d young hector and Coquelin.

Chanbers had a very very bad game, ramsey had a poor game too. I really don't think the person that did this rating watched the match.

This game was almost a repeat of another meeting when Arsenal, leading 4 goals to 0, decided that the job was done only to have the lead erased in a space of minutes. This characteristic 2nd half lethargy must be dealt with immediately and, in any case, not later than April 3, 2015. Both Coutinho and Sterling have no mercy on sloths!

Must be the same rating as the referees where they say theygot 90% correct but the 10% missed are the critical plays. Ramsay could not make a pass or play at the critical time in the final 3rd or in our defensive 3rd. Tivo the game then focus only on Rams

I disagree with so many of your player scores. I have not seen a game in recent Arsenal history where so many players either gave the ball away, were caught in possession or put a pass short to their teammate. Talking about giving the pass short there were so many instances of the player not coming to meet the ball thereby gifting it to them. I am glad of the three points but we were lucky to get them with the effort given.

Quite accurate. Mighty glad about the three points though and for that, I am willing to accept the ratings. i think Chambers needs to improve defensively though.

Chambers had a nightmare with cabella, and sometimes giving the ball away by trying to do to much to impress the gaffer, but he can not bench bellerin with this kind of performance
