Another game and more dropped points from Arsenal. Although having most of the possession it was Cech who was the busier of the keepers. However, the one positive was the return of Wilshere.

Cech - 8 - Made sure Arsenal didn’t concede pulling off three great saves at the beginning of the 2nd half.

Bellerin - 6 - Didn’t have chance to get forward like usual and when he did his crossing was poor.

Mertesacker - 6 - Defended reasonably well but was lucky not to concede a penalty.

Koscielny - 7 - Thought he looked assured in today’s game.

Monreal - 6 - Defended well but his crossing was poor.

Elneny - 7 - Had another good game and seems to be the most consistent player at the moment.

Ramsey - 5 - Was poor today giving the ball away in the midfield.

Sanchez - 6 - Sanchez kept trying all game but nothing really came off.

Ӧzil - 6 - Didn’t really create a chance today and was on the fringes of the play all match.

Iwobi - 7 - Looked dangerous throughout the game but needed to be better in the final third but he looked like he may open the scoring on numerous occasions.

Giroud - 5 - Another poor performance from the Frenchman who has now gone 13 games without a league goal. Some of his hold play was okay but kept drifting to the left hand side.

Subs

Welbeck - 6 - Looked lively when coming on but needed longer

Walcott - 6 - Put in a couple of decent balls but couldn’t really get into the match.

Wilshere - N/A - Didn’t have time to influence the game

Overall, a poor performance and a disappointing result but it was nice to see Wilshere return to the first team although, it may be too late for him to make an impact. This season needs to be over as the fans are getting restless.

Football Is not about buying world class players. A good example is the Ranieri's Leicester City. Everything Wenger needs to learn from him and look at the players spirit, potential and power. Money is not everything, have moral to win.

Bring in IBRA from PSG. Forget about these boys (Walcot and Giroud) Arsenal legend said " Wenger can not win EPL under Giroud as a striker" It is true. We have 2 remaining matches, Can Arsenal make it? Nobody knows

typical Wenger what a hyprocite he said in the pre match interview that having played on thursday would not be an excuse yet after the game he said "the players were fatigued " When js he going to admit he is not now up to the job and should move on to a lucrative retirement so some one who can make Arsenal great again.?

Walcott is an expensive passenger, Ramsey flatters to deceive and thinks he is better than he will ever be, Giroud spends too much time waving his arms about instead of being proactive and sadly we need two proper centre backs, Mertesaker and Kosienly are past their sell by date.

Today I and many other fans wasted our time and money going up to Sunderland to watch a pathetic sloppy uncaring team go through the motions of being a football team.girouds game is spent falling backwards putting his arms out like Wenger,Ramsey trying to show us all how clever he is with these silly flicks/back heels, and still we condense the game into their penalty area so there's no space, this is Wengers team,Wengers tactics so must be Wengers responsibility, lastly Theo Walcott, well, take off that shirt, and give your wages to the travelling fans because you are a fraud, I can't believe I saw him jump over the ball rather than try and win it when mannone was out of his goal, it's one of the worst things Iv seen this season, and today I'm ashamed of my club and these overpaid lazy fraudsters wearing our shirt, shame on you all, WENGER OUT AND TAKE MOST OF THIS MOB WITH YOU,,!!

I have said it before and i will still say it again giroud to me is a lazy striker can not lead arsenal front and wacott is not good again for arsenal need to go else where to and try his luck and Arsene Wenger should as a mater of urgency spend some money and sign a potent striker and also a good defender

walcott isn't the man who can create chances. wenger should have sent in Campbell. he is more capable of doing things...i used to like walcott ,but now i don't have hopes when i see him in. he can't dribble, he loses many balls, in general ,he doesn't do nothing. maybe he can be good when we play on counters, but we don't, we play possesion. on this style of play ,he is = 0
