This afternoon’s match saw Arsenal drop a crucial two points but it could have been a lot worse if it wasn’t for the excellent Cech. Arsenal dominated possession but didn’t really cause Valdes many problems.

Cech – 9 – Cech had an outstanding game in goal and saved Arsenal on numerous occasions.

Bellerin – 6 – Got forward but his final ball was lacking today.

Mustafi – 7 – Mustafi continues to impress early on in his Arsenal career and look to dominate the backline.

Koscielny – 8 – Another outstanding game this season and is proving what an excellent defender he is.

Monreal – 6 – Looked nervous again against the pacey Traore and lacked a decent cross in the final third.

Coquelin – 7 – Was solid in the centre of midfield but lacked aggression.

Elneny – 6 – Tidy in possession but didn’t dictate the game like Cazorla.

Walcott – 6 – Quiet on the right and didn’t really get a chance.

Ӧzil – 6 – Was very quiet and didn’t really get into the match.

Iwobi – 6 – Wasn’t at his best on the ball and the ball regularly bounced off him today.

Sanchez – 7 – Worked hard and had Arsenal’s best chances but struggled up against two tall centre halves.

Subs

Perez – 6 – Looked lively once he came on but didn’t really get a chance.

Oxlade – Chamberlain – 6 – Came on to play central midfield but didn’t really get into the game.

Overall, this will go down as two points dropped but the positive has to be that we didn’t lose. The big matches will be important this year due to how tight it has become at the top. The only consolation is Spurs also dropped points.

I agree with paul. these so called small team come to emirates to frustate us and catch us on a break to score.
Wenger must wake up and change the style of play. We need to move the ball very fast and go for a quick /early go and then the chaps will break their defensive barriers and try to equallise. thats when we hammer them more.

honestly arsenal did not go into this game with the mind set of winning the game or will i say they underestimated the boro for crying out loud how will they score 6 goals during the week only to play draw with boro its a big deal we did missed Carzola but the coach messed it up after 45 mins is obvious that Elneny has no bussines being in the pitch because he's ineffective don't create any chance just passing side ways and going back how can that be on this modern day football boro should have won the match because they came for it oh big thanks to Czech who was in his true element saving us on number of occasions to me he is the MOM a big flop to the gaffer you have boro with two tall defence and you Alexis who is short what happens to Giroud?we need him in this type of game for noding and his physicality would have been notice i was not happy though a point was good like nothing*Happy birth day gaffer.

Hope city will do the same:) whatever we say, it is hard to win so many games in a row. Yes ,is dissapointing but let's hope they will not repeat it more often. And bellerin saved an almost a sure goal...

Bellerin gets the same rating as monreal? Surely you are joking, monreal was/has been awful and left back is the next position that the club needs to address.

Why can't they play right from the beginning how they played the last 15 minutes with a lot more intensity and purpose!. So often we just leave it until the bitter end to put in the big effort. Maybe playing midweek had an effect. We have to find a way to beat those teams who come to the Ermirates and just frustrate us by packing the box, then break out and score a goal. If we could come out at the beginning with the intention of scoring a quick goal the opponents would have to try and score and thereby leave more spaces for us to attack into.

Same old Arsenal. A lot of possession but no real efforts on goal. They had more shots on target than us!
It is a good job that Cech was on form o. R. We could have lost
