After succeeding in his attempt to lure Petr Cech to Arsenal, Arsene Wenger has now shifted his focus to an attacking reinforcement in the shape of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who may cost the Gunners nothing shy of £28million.

The Gabonese international has become an instant hit at the Westfalenstadion since his move two years ago notching up forty-one goals while the rest of the roster underperformed.

His heroics under Jurgen Klopp have prompted Liverpool and Arsenal to bid for him, but the latter are believed to be the front-runners for his signature.

John Terry all but confirmed the imminent capture of Petr Cech as he claimed that his teammate would save the Gunners up to fifteen points a season signaling the potential departure of either Wojciech Szczesny or David Ospina.

Given the meteoric rise in prominence of the Colombian international, he was believed to hold on to his role at the Emirates Stadium, but reports from Turkey stated that Fenerbahce had reached an agreement with the London outfit for his transfer.

Petr Cech has signed for Arsenal according to many media outlets this evening although, it must be stressed that there is no official confirmation.

A fee of £11 million has been agreed with personal terms already agreed as reported by Sky Sports News HQ.  It is understood that the wages will be around £100,000 per week.

Amidst all the troubles that Jose Mourinho is looking to cause in order to prevent long-serving goalkeeper Petr Cech from moving across the city to Arsenal, the Gunners are still confident of rubberstamping the deal.

It was initially believed that a loan move for Wojciech Szczesny was on the cards to make room for the Chelsea shot-stopper, but fresh reports from Turkey state that David Ospina would be the one Arsene Wenger will sacrifice.

After failing twice in their attempts to bring down Raheem Sterling, Manchester City have reportedly set their sights on Jack Wilshere, whom they surprisingly value at £5million shy of their valuation of the Liverpool winger.

Manuel Pellegrini has lost Frank Lampard, James Milner, Micah Richards and Scott Sinclair this summer and desperately needs to sign a few home-grown players to not fall foul of the UEFA regulations.
