Arsenal have never seemed to have cooled their two-year-old interest in Morgan Schneiderlin, whom the Saints could no longer afford to keep hold of. Southampton have now decided to finally allow the unhappy midfielder to move to a Champions League team.

Arsene Wenger is known to be a long-term admirer of Julian Draxler and there were claims that Arsenal and Schalke even agreed fee for the highly-rated midfielder last year, but the move was never finalized thanks to the inability of the German club to find his replacement back then.
