Sunday afternoons match saw a draw between inform Arsenal and Chelsea who now look like premier league winners. Although, it ended 0-0, the first half was entertaining with penalty shouts galore but the second hard was a lot quieter.

Ospina 7 – Could have given a penalty away earlier on but pulled off a smart save to deny Ramires.

Bellerin 7 – Bellerin’s form continues and kept Hazard quiet for all of the game. The biggest compliment I can give is that Hazard was hardly mentioned and cleared Oscar’s lob off the line.

Mertesacker 7 – Mertesacker had a good game and showed why Wenger rates him so highly. Defended well for most of the game and unfazed by the second half presence of Drogba.

Koscielny 7 – Defended really well alongside Mertesacker and was assertive in his defending.

Monreal 7 – Another impressive performance by the Spaniard and showed why he is of value to this Arsenal side.

Coquelin 7 – Coquelin once again showed his importance in the midfield and once again nullified the opposing team once again.

Cazorla 7 – A quiet game but showed glimpses of quality.

Ӧzil 8 – An excellent game from the German who looked heads and shoulders above everyone one else the pitch. Often involved in all of Arsenals good play and showed why he is regarded as a world class player.

Ramsey 7 – Ramsey did a good job for the team making sure Hazard was kept quiet and showed some good skill in the Chelsea half.

Sanchez 7 – Another game where Sanchez worked hard and drove the team forward.

Giroud 7 – A good game by Giroud often holding up the play but didn’t get much room from Cahill or Terry.

Subs

Welbeck N/A – Didn’t have much time to influence the game.

Walcott N/A - Didn’t have much time to influence the game.

Overall, a good result and a point well deserved and shows that Arsenal can compete with the very best in the league.
