A last minute winner takes all three points away from home and moves Arsenal up to third.  This will go down as three points nicked after a lacklustre display. After all of the superlatives over the last week this seemed to be typical Arsenal. The ball came in which was flicked on by Walcott which Koscielny swung a leg towards before diverting the ball accidentally with him arm into the goal.

Cech – 7 – Made a great save in the second half to keep the game level.

Bellerin – 6 – Not at his best going forward but there were no offerings in the middle.

Mustafi – 7 – Mustafi had a very good game and showed he is very capable against a very physical presence in Vokes.

Koscielny – 7 – Will be credited with the winner and defended well throughout the game.

Monreal – 7 – Wasn’t great going forward but defended well and stopped the cross which was important.

Xhaka – 6 – Kept the ball ticking over in the midfield.

Cazorla – 6 – Kept probing in midfield but was fairly ineffective.

Walcott – 6 – Wasn’t at his best and lacked the intensity of his previous games.

Ӧzil – 5 – Ӧzil had an awful game and its best he just moved on from it.

Iwobi – 7 – Iwobi was Arsenals best attacking player trying to create something all of the time.

Sanchez – 7 – Tried to create opportunities but it just wasn’t working.

Subs

Oxlade – Chamberlain – 6 – Didn’t really do much once he came on.

Elneny – 6 – Kept the ball moving in midfield and looked full of energy.

Overall, Arsenal were not at their best but the three points are all what matter. That win moves Arsenal to within two points of Manchester City.

The league title is very open. The defeat of Man City by Tottenham notwithstanding I still consider them strong. Arsenal must fortify their defence as well as improve their strike force

I know Arsenal can be better. With Chelsea out of the way Manchester city Manchester united are next. Tottenham are no contenders to the league title

II liked it. I think we are tasting real Arsenal flavor. Boys should work harder and harder. Walcott and Ozil should control their consistence otherwise things will fall apart

It was what Arsenal lacked in the past. Not very good but got the most important three points. What a nice way to commemorate Wenger's 20th Anniversary!

I wouldn't call it a lacklustre performance. The players had an ok game, but not at their best, which is purely down to the fact that Burnley was very organised and worked so hard. We played a very stubborn team which neutralized our attack.
Am glad we got the 3 points thou. Luck was on our side.

Not a good performance but scrappy win. Mind you if you get a win playing badly, this is good

Truly horrible performance but one we've come to expect after a good one, for me the goal belongs to the ox,no more to say about the game,
