After Arsenal’s audacious £40,000,001 bid was rejected by Liverpool, it is now up to the Liverpool striker to push his move away from Anfield.
The North London club’s obvious enthusiasm to sign Suarez could be enough for the number 7 to make the switch, giving him a fresh start, a clean slate where he can put his turbulent 2012 behind him and become the Premier League’s top scorer and main man at the Emirates.
Buyout
Contrary to popular belief, the £40million clause in Suarez’s contract WAS NOT an out-and-out release clause. A release clause allows the player to move swiftly and easily should the buying club meet the contractual and financial demands.
However Suarez’s clause stated that Liverpool must inform Suarez of the bid – should it pass the £40million mark – but they do not have to accept it.
The only option left for the tables to be completely turned would be for Suarez to state his intent at leaving Liverpool.
A transfer request would put the glove on the other hand, with Liverpool then left with a player who is publicly against the club - as opposed to £40million in the bank to spend on someone who does wish to represent the Reds. Suarez himself can topple the balance of power in his own favour.
As of now, Luis Suarez WANTS to hold talks with Arsenal over a potential move.
Real Madrid
With Higuain reportedly set to complete a move to Napoli, Real Madrid now showing interest in Suarez capture too.
Arsenal will really need to step up their quest of the striker, otherwise this could end up being a very disappointing summer in the transfer market.

We had one bad summer yes we know. We got some money back for one, and the other two only got better. I think youll find Arsenal make transfer mistakes every year. To scared to do anything.
Well at least we didn't spend £75 mil on shi1te players lol
No club at the top of english football has fallen like liverpool have over last 10 years arsenal might have slipped to 3rd/4th but liverpool cant even say their in top 6 anymore which is embarassing.
Suarez wants out and its ***ic to think otherwise he needs to be at a better team who play better football at a higher level (champions league) if real dont swoop suarez is an arsenal player come september
For all you knowledgable liverpool fans suarez has forced his way out of the last 2 clubs and even went to court with a previous team so he could get out.
all the reports state suarez is willing and is planning to leave liverpool so deal with it.
liverpool football club is mediocre at best suarez will not stay bookies wont even take bets anymore on him leaving hahaha
Pretty simple answer. He wants to leave a *** team and join a side that that doesn't finish mid table.
Again, arsenal have said nothing. All we have is Liverpools blurb and the owners tweet. Its all over reaction from a management team who seem to be loosing control.
Because Arsenal have been told no time and again, why can't they get it into their thick skulls LFC will not sell him to them, they now have as much chance as Man U of buying him.
He is Real bound...end of.
All th noise is coming from Liverpool. Not sure why so many Liverpool fans are mad at Arsenal-business is business, why pay more than you have to?
Odd bunch.
At the end of the day, why would you want to do business with a club like Arsenal that is effectively spitting in your face? It almost seems they have lost the plot or are getting annoyed because they cannot secure the services of a top player, they don't seem to appreciate that a: Suarez is Liverpool's most prized asset, he was never going to go cheap, and b: Liverpool would be mad to sell him to a team that might pip them to a top 4 spot because they signed Suarez, it's business suicide, Arsenal need to wake up and realise they are barking up the wrong trees.
There is absolutely no proof anywhere that Suarez will hand in a transfer request. I am also sure that if Madrid come knocking it will be his first choice destination.
No one rightly knows how his talks with BR went when they met again in Melbourne and it is also plausible that he stays at LFC!
World cup next year he wont want to sit on a bench all year so they dont have to sell him,
