After Arsenal’s audacious £40,000,001 bid was rejected by Liverpool, it is now up to the Liverpool striker to push his move away from Anfield.

The North London club’s obvious enthusiasm to sign Suarez could be enough for the number 7 to make the switch, giving him a fresh start, a clean slate where he can put his turbulent 2012 behind him and become the Premier League’s top scorer and main man at the Emirates.

Buyout

Contrary to popular belief, the £40million clause in Suarez’s contract WAS NOT an out-and-out release clause. A release clause allows the player to move swiftly and easily should the buying club meet the contractual and financial demands.

However Suarez’s clause stated that Liverpool must inform Suarez of the bid – should it pass the £40million mark – but they do not have to accept it.

The only option left for the tables to be completely turned would be for Suarez to state his intent at leaving Liverpool.

A transfer request would put the glove on the other hand, with Liverpool then left with a player who is publicly against the club - as opposed to £40million in the bank to spend on someone who does wish to represent the Reds.  Suarez himself can topple the balance of power in his own favour.

As of now, Luis Suarez WANTS to hold talks with Arsenal over a potential move.

Real Madrid

With Higuain reportedly set to complete a move to Napoli, Real Madrid now showing interest in Suarez capture too.

Arsenal will really need to step up their quest of the striker, otherwise this could end up being a very disappointing summer in the transfer market.

Rich - liverpool wouldnt make up a bid from Arsenal so dont think it matters if Arsenal deny it. They would have by now. Fair enough Arsenal can mock liverpool for finishing lower, but look at yourselves wow your champions league but wow you dont get anywhere near to winning anything. You scrap for fourth and wonder why when your scared of spending.

Well at least we didn't spend £75 mil on shi1te players lol

We had one bad summer yes we know. We got some money back for one, and the other two only got better. I think youll find Arsenal make transfer mistakes every year. To scared to do anything.

You Arsenal fans really are clueless. Us liverpool fans know what happened to our club and are gettting behind the team to get back in the top 4. Your so oblivious to what other teams are doing than yourselves. You went from wining things to 2/3 to 4th and now your at the point where your fighting for 4th, cant get anywhere near winning a cup or harldy getting out the group stage of CL. Watch your own backs first. At least in the last 8 years we have CL trophy, fa cup, league cup abd other finals. You have nothing but tagging along in the CL youll never get close to winning. Look at yourselves rather than others.

love seeing liverpool fans reactions.

No club at the top of english football has fallen like liverpool have over last 10 years arsenal might have slipped to 3rd/4th but liverpool cant even say their in top 6 anymore which is embarassing.

Suarez wants out and its ***ic to think otherwise he needs to be at a better team who play better football at a higher level (champions league) if real dont swoop suarez is an arsenal player come september

For all you knowledgable liverpool fans suarez has forced his way out of the last 2 clubs and even went to court with a previous team so he could get out.

all the reports state suarez is willing and is planning to leave liverpool so deal with it.

liverpool football club is mediocre at best suarez will not stay bookies wont even take bets anymore on him leaving hahaha

He's not worth 40m. Arsenal should look elsewhere, Liverpool have taken the piss by holding him down and not letting him progress his career with a realistic transfer fee. Not a penny more I say and Liverpool can look to past glories, they are looking more like a Villa than a ManU, Everton have overtaken them and the club is in a terminal decline to mediocre status.

Looserpool!looserpoo l!looserpool! Why @thou delaying the inevitable?? You aint gona finish above 7th, u aint offering UCL, what realy do you have to offer suarez to make him stay? His compatriot cavani would be playing in the UCL for PSG, are they gona win it??? NO NO NO, so what makes you poorpool fans think suarez wants to go to a club that capable of winning the UCL?? One thing is certain, arsenal have a better chance of winning the UCL than PSG(its not all about winning it you see) if anyone is showing any form of disrespect here it has to be madrid who values your best player @only £25m, but they paid £30m for isco, and more than £30m for illaramendi, now thats disrespect, and if you for once the sale of higuian would enable madrid to bid more for suarez..then i should be asking "what you smoking over there" its clear they were interested in suarez before they purchased both isco and illarra, so why dint they bid for him then? No doubt we would offer more to him than liverpool and to some extent madrid(we would make him our number1 CF/what better way to prepare for the worldcup, whereas in madrid he would share that burden with karim benzema, he wouldnt be their starman too, ronaldo is, so i think suarez have had a 2nd thought and might actualy favour an arsenal move more) no doubt he would instantly make us contenders on all front and what better way to repay liverpool for the time they took away from us if we actualy get him, than to wipe them 4-nil @ anfield. Lol.. £2m loyalty bonus i hear.. We would pay him £3m personly for handing in a transfer request lol.. Thats all it takes, a transfer request.

Pretty simple answer. He wants to leave a *** team and join a side that that doesn't finish mid table.

Release Clause is triggered. It is time to you to inform Suarez. Suarez suppose to be a Champions league player. Anyone can understand his demands. He didn't suit Europa league his abilities are much higher than EU league. Like Rooney said 'It's imparassing to play EU league'. Rooney's C.Ronaldo's Messi's and Suarez's talent should not play in EU league. Those players have unique abilities with deferent styles. Suarez have football style who didn't suit Liverpool style of play. He is more suit in Wengerball. He will be like Cazorla a player who find himself easyly trough Arsenal style of play.

Have aresnal confirmed or denied the bid? - no.

All th noise is coming from Liverpool. Not sure why so many Liverpool fans are mad at Arsenal-business is business, why pay more than you have to?

Odd bunch.

Because Arsenal have been told no time and again, why can't they get it into their thick skulls LFC will not sell him to them, they now have as much chance as Man U of buying him.

He is Real bound...end of.

Again, arsenal have said nothing. All we have is Liverpools blurb and the owners tweet. Its all over reaction from a management team who seem to be loosing control.

Can I ask how you know this? Suarez would have found out this morning. He would of been getting ready for the game and now playing in it. All these rumours that come out about him wanting Arsenal or wanting to talk are all rubbish. All those articles are written by desperate Arsenal fans with false hope. That £1 p*sstake has ended your chances. Face it no Higuain , no Suarez, no spending. Why do you actually trust wenger. He is slowly ruining you. Time to leave.

I very much doubt either Real Madrid or Liverpool would want to do business with Arsenal, they have managed to annoy both with their actions, I think it now more likely Suarez will go to Real, which is his preference, but still depends on amount, Arsenal have put Real in the driving seat as Liverpool would look to avoid doing business with Arsenal, but now this would mean that Real can go lower than what Arsenal would offer, but that could then backfire.
At the end of the day, why would you want to do business with a club like Arsenal that is effectively spitting in your face? It almost seems they have lost the plot or are getting annoyed because they cannot secure the services of a top player, they don't seem to appreciate that a: Suarez is Liverpool's most prized asset, he was never going to go cheap, and b: Liverpool would be mad to sell him to a team that might pip them to a top 4 spot because they signed Suarez, it's business suicide, Arsenal need to wake up and realise they are barking up the wrong trees.

What utter cr*p!

There is absolutely no proof anywhere that Suarez will hand in a transfer request. I am also sure that if Madrid come knocking it will be his first choice destination.

No one rightly knows how his talks with BR went when they met again in Melbourne and it is also plausible that he stays at LFC!

very clever on behalf of kronke&co, pr in overdrive fooling the masses into thinking your actually going to sign Suarez, while you sit on the wonga Arsenal the COMPANY has usurped from the supporters, feeding them a carrot, keeping them on the edge of their seats, anything to keep the rabble happy. no trophies for another season, and how much have you spent already this preseason £0000000000

suarez WANTS to talk to arsenal i doubt it if anything rsenal with there pursuit of suarez is making us l'pool fans forgive and defend him after his ridiculous comments early up so thank u arsene and arsenal supporters

Audacious? more ridiculous you were never going to get him for £40,000,000 and because you had the nerv to bid £1 over the magic number and showed no repect to liverpool you will never get him, even if you bid what Liverpool want £55mill.
World cup next year he wont want to sit on a bench all year so they dont have to sell him,
