Good news on Draxler injury front which means he could still move

Initial fears that Julian Draxler could be out until late March appears to have been allayed this afternoon.

We brought your news this morning of the German wonder kids injury and those first reports that he could be out until March, but Jan Aage Fjortoft has confirmed this isn’t the case.

He tweeted earlier today that:

“Reliable German journalist @Sky_Dirk who follows Schalke says Julian Draxler will be back middle of February.”

In addition to this, Fjortoft also confirmed that Draxler will be back running within 10-14 days which would mean that he could possibly go through a medical if he were to move to the Emirates as suggested.

This morning many believed this transfer could be over but this news means maybe we could see another talented German move to north London.

Fingers crossed that this special youngster is in England with the Gunners by the end of the transfer window.

draxler could solve the striking problem of arsenal if signed now.Arsenal is one club which eyes a good player and leaves for other clubs then goes for very cheap,untalented and young players. we now need a trophy this season.wake up arsenal and sign draxler now.

we need draxler, in our squad, wenger shouldn't let him go because his injury isn't that much strong, we can just sign him, draxler is a very atractive and tarented young player we don't sign him only for this season but for now and next seasons. i strongly recomend that wenger should not do the same mistake he did to gonzalo, he must sign him.

It is true that we need a striker more urgently than any other player. However, AFC is a big club that should have top drawer players like Draxler is. We must acquire him now because failure to do so would most certainly see him go to another club. We need to think of the future not this season alone.

I think a deal at least verbal has been agreed already. My concern would be leaving it until the summer, It could kick start a bidding war, pushing his value way above his release clause. All its going to take is one scorching goal at the world cup and we are screwed! It would be (as far as I'm concerned) acceptable if we bought now and allowed him to finish his season at schalke.
I know we are probably in need of a striker more than anything but like ozil he is more than worth the outlay. COYG!
