Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler is in Munich today to visit the same doctor who conducted a medical for Mesut Özil before his transfer to Arsenal towards the end of the summer transfer window.

Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt is the doctor in question but unfortunately he isn’t doing a medical because Draxler is moving to Arsenal (yet), it is just to see when he can start training with a ball again.

Aage Fjortoft reveals the news

This is all according to well-known journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft who tweeted the news this morning.

I understand Draxler is in Munich today to see Dr. Müller-Wohlfahrt. He will tell Draxler if he can start training with ball again

However, these medicals test could indicate to Arsenal whether it is worth trying to bring the talented German into the club during the final days of the transfer window.

Could he stay or could he go

Hypothetically, if Draxler passes these tests with flying colours and can return to training sooner than expected it may force Arsene Wenger to push this deal through earlier than expected.

Although, on the flip side of the coin. If Draxler is not going to be fit for a while then it will likely make Wenger look elsewhere to booster his squad in January.

Draxler joining the Gunners may have to wait, as is expected, until the summer but a lot could rest of these medical tests.

Ok,everyone knows that arsenal doesn't sing any big name in January...right know we need someone who has experience in PL like Berbatov whe still can score 20 goals in season and he can play in Arsenal way.

yah it is an interesting new for me as an arsenal fan.it is sure that it will be a great solution for the strike.and it will be good with the loan bead of marco vucnic

Yes, agreed we need to win games to compete with man city or Chelsea but our tradition as arsenal is to win in style that makes funs enjoy the game. I think the addition of Draxler is timely

Assuming Draxler comes to Arsenal,can the gunners go on to win the epl?I have doubts.
You look at the way Pool and MC scored.and you will know why.Their breakout from defence to attack was swift.The gunners are,imho,too ponderous. Maybe it's Wenger over emphasis on ball retention.
Football is like shooting a fox. You don't chase the fox all over the place. Shoot to kill/score .If not not forget about the title.

the main thing for us is striker ,if we get striker like Suarez I'll be happy because I like the man well he know how to dribble in front he have goal experience please help us buy striker is our problem for now because if we have good striker like Suarez against Chelsea we will won that match.

Arsenal need a proven striker and stop being too predictable.MC have just brushed aside Spurs with contempt.Mc just go ahead and shoot to score whereas the gunners keep passing and passing all day.
Unless Wenger can show he can beat MC ,I believe the title is heading north. I would love to be proven wrong,
