It is safe to say the signing of Kim Källström has certainly not been met with the same celebrations which Mesut Özil’s transfer received last summer.
To add to the obvious disparagement many rivals fans have aimed at Arsenal over this signing we have some interesting comments from Russian fans on our new signing.
Benchwarmer
Unfortunately they don’t exactly make pretty reading. Fans of the Russian club Spartak Moscow commented on the confirmation that Källström had moved to London.
They said:
“Player who sits on the bench at Spartak, signed to strengthen the Arsenal play?”
More others included were:
“Spartak are so great that it gives its benchwarmer to one of the leaders of the Premier League. The world has gone mad.
“His match fitness often lacking in Russian Premier League and with the intensity of the Premier League, I'm afraid he does not cope.
“What Kim doing at Arsenal? He is not there level ... that’s from a Spartak and Arsenal fan!
“If Kallstrom will succeed at Arsenal , then Wenger will be ranked as the greatest coach of all time , except that the probability of this event happening is 10,000 to 1.”
Logical move
Some more encouraging comments include:
“I understand it, it's not much of a gamble and he is better in the holding area then Arteta.
“When Flamini came free, many joked. As a result, he plays an important role. The situation with injuries and suspensions forces them to take this step.”
It doesn’t make great reading but the last comment is quite poignant, many laughed at Flamini joining the club and he has been a key addition to the squad.
Will Källström be the same or is this a serious blunder by Wenger...

How much did he pay you to say that cobblers.
You couldn't make this up could you, nice one Wonger,
You are joking right, he is a Fecking Jonah we could offload him in the summer thats why we have this clown playing for us now. Wonger is a true firms man, earns a fortune for himself and the board and thinks coming in the top 4 is a result. The guy has got to go, he can't take us any further, his stubbornness will cost us every year.
Yep, its ***s like you, spoiled, plastic glory hunting ***s like you who piss me off.
The manager has made mistakes, as have all managers, he has had to put up with *** loads because he has been expected to keep the team competitive while having to buy and sell players to make money each year.
Now, that the hard times are finally over and he has more to spend and has done just 5 months ago, whiney, deluded, ***wits l;ike YOU have the ***ing nerve ti say he is destroying the club? The man has given a million times more than plastic jonny come latelys like you have, or ever will.
What do you GIVE to Arsenal? Because you aint even giving your SUPPORT FFS!
That is the bare minimum.
Less than6 months after the club spent over £40m on one of the world's greatest midfielders, despite every hack and pundit claiming it wasnt what Arsenal needed, and despite competing with clubs bankrolled by Nations, oil billionaires and oligarchs, yet still remained at the TOP of the league, got thru the so called Champs league group of death and still in the FA cup...
Yet despite this and the fact Wenger has had to keep the team in top 4 with limited finances due to the fact the club have moved into one of the best stadia in the world and despite playing good attractive football...
What do we get?
A bunch of spoilt brat babies, throwin their toys out the pram, slating a player even BEFORE he has played a minute for us and demanding Wenger spends close to £40m on a 20 year old INJURED player from a different league who has scored ONE goal this season and would probably not have much inpact this season as he isnt even a striker FFS, and a player who 99% have even seen play...
You make me sick.
You're embarrassing.
Let Vermaealen go? You have no idea do you, yes let our club captain and top quality defender go. He has just been very unlucky with the immense partnership of Kos and BFG - you wouldn't. Of gotten rid of Steve bould just because Adams and Keown were awesome.
Season ticket holders should unite over renewal !
Fiddler around with "fancy kid players" until Arteta came and he realized at last what a top player is like.,
If he had not inherited George Graham's greats and some luck he would have disappeared long ago.
A small man trying to be big but not of that calibre.
