It is clear to see that this year’s title race is going right down to the wire. Arsenal are one point off Chelsea and two points ahead of Manchester City although they have a game in hand.

There have been plenty of pundits stating that Arsenal can’t win the Premier League but they have a fair chance as they have come all of this way.

Last week I had Talksport on the radio and heard Jason Cundy say Arsenal were lucky to be in the title race and they had an easy start which one fan argued that every team has played each other once.

Bacary's view

The Arsenal team are all saying the right things for example take it one game at a time and it was Bacary Sagna’s turn to give his view and this is what he said:

“We have to learn and look forward because we're still one point behind Chelsea. We want to finish first, we want to be successful and we have to make a lot of effort to realise our dream.” (Arsenal.com)

It is abundantly clear that this Arsenal team want to win the league this year.

The Manager

Arsene Wenger was keen to tell Arsenal.com that this title race could go to the wire by saying the following:

“It looks like the last game could be decisive," "Nobody knows. What is for sure, the most consistent team from now on will do it.”

"Everybody has big games, everybody has difficult games, the Premier League is difficult for everybody so let's just focus on our performances.

This was then followed by Wenger saying:

"Let's go for the 11 games with a real desire to do well in every single game - then you have a good chance."

Overall

Arsenal have every chance of winning the league but March will be decisive in where the title will go.

This team will fight for every point as they have shown throughout the season so far.
