Although the champions league has had bad results come in for the English clubs so far with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United all losing 2-0 to their respected teams, Arsenal may see some positives.

Although Arsenal have had some difficulties against Man United, on-loan striker Joel Campbell did wonders for his team Olympiacos to secure a 2-0 home advantage.

The striker on-loan secured his team a  2-0 result with a wonderful long distance shot which curled into the bottom corner to further dampen the poor run of form that Manchester United have shown.

Speaking to ESPN Deportes after the victory, he said:

"We played every well against a very good team and we weren't intimidated.

"There is still a very hard game at Old Trafford and we hope to advance to the next round.

"Thank God I scored a goal and celebrated it with my father, girlfriend and cousins.

"There are many things I can improve on though, I am 21 and I have to keep working."

Arsenal hopes

"I am still hopeful of playing for Arsenal but I have not been given the chance yet, I hope to keep working at Olympiakos.

"I am making sure that I take this opportunity."

Is this striker a player Arsenal can turn to next season? Only time will till...

It would be nice if one of the present Arsenal team could have scored against Man U. Instead our players or former players seem to perform elsewhere. Something to do with how they are managed?
