Even the Dalai Lama would lose faith in this Arsenal yet fans continue to pay the ransom in support of lacking in fight, will to win and a pride in self and club.

Beaten, by a penalty, at Stoke, having only registered 2 shots on target to be followed by the cream of Europe, the Premier League and Spurs. It's all like water to a drowning man.

It is the cliche; the next game is most important, but the next five is decisive and potentially fatal. Arsenal could be king but psychological frailty could make us king makers unless focus can be regained with a full strength lung-busting display and win vs Everton.

Only such a result against a team our players evidently fear would have provided the needed impetus this team needs to now challenge for the adulation they enjoyed for 17 weeks at the top.

The race to the title is a marathon but our Arsenal is hamstrung by confidence which could leave us first or fifth. The run across Stamford's Bridge may redeem our fading strides but not if we can't conquer the Seven Sisters along the road. Failure in either means we could be bearing gifts for the visit of the sheikhs and those beyond. Unless the Arsenal can earn at least 7 from the next 12 points, that'll be it for our race.

Arsenal's annual Feeble February has come to an end and the experts resolve hung by a thread thinner than our chances of lifting the Champions League this season.  While horses, mules and ponies gallop through the minds of our competitors our gunners have quickly become the specialists securing our failure by dead legs at the Britannia.

Moanful March has started away at Stoke who limited the free flowing 'Etihads' to a single goal in fluke so Arsenal were warned yet Wenger's Weebles extended their 2 days off now find themselves set to hobble in chase of a resurgent Liverpool and the others with provably more favourable fixtures.

City's games in hand, Liverpool's firepower, Chelsea's know how could see Arsenal trail by as much as 6 points leading into the final 5 games, but by then Everton, Tottenham and Manchester United could pose a greater threat to our embarrassment than ahead. The failure to win at Stoke is merely painful in comparison to our terminal failure to find suitable striking options in January.

In season boosted by uninterested Manchester United this was Arsenal's and Arsene's year to rebuild the confidence shattered with Eduardo's broken leg at Birmingham.

Yet the club dithered yet again leaving the Arsenal march to championship lined with moans and regret as Wenger has yet again stolen ridicule from the lap of glory by gifting the Premier League title to collect a fourth place trophy.

If Wenger has not signed a new contract and left it till late, it could mean he is hoping he could still achieve at least a 4th place which would ensure playing C/L and bring in the moolah after which he would probably sign on dotted line. If not then its bye-bye. Question is who would replace him?

i think most fans would agree the FA Cup is and has been our best chance of a trophy for years now and this year is no exception

Wonga has got caught out, everybody knew we needed a striker but did Wonga buy one NO ? reason Wonga? his tactics are now being found out and nullified by everybody. WE have players that should be playing for a pub team. Wonger plays Art ? no balls MR Bottler himself and leaves out the Gladiator Flamster Leaves the OX on the bench until its too late. WTF Jacks is starting for I don't know the guy is a legend in his OWN head. Ozil is a lazy Git who thinks he is too good to track back and a moppet named Giroud for our only striker. WE will be fighting yet again for 4th place and if we are very very lucky get to play in the FA cup final. I think Wonga has taken us as far as he can go,new contract!!! he should be paying the club back some of the 30Million he has collected in wages whilst the club has won sweet Fook all and is not lightly to with him in charge. Wonger gets it wrong yet again FFS

Six points ahead the Spuds after the beat Cardiff on Sunday, and a trip to the Lane, maybe FIFTH place looms. After that listless performance I am not optimistic.

I don't think Arsenal will win the title after this performance. What is worrying is that no one in the team takes charge when things are not going well. I also feel we have the most over hyped English youngsters. Wilshere has no idea when to release the ball. Always over carries it and gets boxed in the end. Only god knows what Giroud does other than flicking the ball through out 90 minutes. God bless the club..

Liverpool are about to win at Southampton where Arsenal were lucky to draw.At the crucial time and in games that matter Arsenal are once again seen to be wanting.Team selection today beggared belief, and my heart sank as soon as I saw it-a lightweight midfield unlikely to to impose itself upon a determined and forceful Stoke.Arsenal continue to stand still and as you point out 4th place looms once again. The FA Cup is the only trophy where Wenger can hope to compete, although that depends on his ability to select the correct side and tactics to take on Everton.
It's interesting to see that all of the so-called big hitters have brought in new management in their attempts to move forward.Whilst it's admirable that Arsenal have stood by their Manager, his out-dated tactics and his inability to recognise the changing economic football environment-how much longer should the Board be prepared to accept this "status quo"?...I suppose-as long as his shortcomings don't effect their "dividends"!!

So whats new? I've been predicting this fiasco ever since we did not buy a decent CF. The one we have - "The french bulldozer" spend more time on his ass complaining to the referee" - but the answer is simple he is an absolute wash out with the ball at his feet. Compare even today's game - I'd swop him any day for Peter Crouse. No we will not get the fourth place trophy, we will get the one below that. Ozil was an equal farce Wenger thought he'd splash out some heavy cash and he'd fool all the fans - He did not fool me! Ozil is too lazy and timid for the premier league. Do your self a favour have a look at the antics of Wiltshire and Giroud and see how often they sat down begging/or thinking they may get a free kick for their dive!
Sorry boys - no trophy and again, and no 4th place - and Wenger will run - he'll not sign another contract as he knows he has screwed it up!
