Santi Cazorla is believed to have joined Rosicky and the BFG Per Mertesacker in signing a new Arsenal contract.

This is all very welcomed and positive news for the club and teammates as positive news brings positivity to the team.

The Spaniard has been a standout and fan favourite since signing for the club in 2012 from Spanish side Malaga. This does not seem to be a surprise as Wenger is known to reward players for doing well and what better than giving the player a new contract.

Bendtner

However along with these contract extension, there are still outstanding problems in that Sagna's future is still up in the air, as well as Bendtner and Fabianski looking certain to leave in the summer.

When asked about his future and whether he will stay, Bendtner had said:

"It's not the plan. I intend to try something else. I am open to all countries. It's not that I think I must stay in England"...

"The most important thing is that I get to play. It is imperative that I get real playing time."

With the Danish Striker falling down the pecking line with Giroud and Sanogo seeming to be favoured before him, it becomes no surprise that the player is looking to leave.
