The Telegragh are claiming that Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny will be the next Arsenal star to be offered a contract extension.

This becomes great news as Arsenal are beginning to tie down key players in order to gain success.

The player who joined in 2010 has become a great success and a standout figure in the defence, with brilliant performances of late.

Along with the partnership of Per Mertesacker, the two players have kept club captain Thomas Vermaelen out of the starting line-up causing a strong line of defence which has been tough to crack.

The news can only be seen as positive after the contract extensions of Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsay, Tomas Rosicky, Gedion Zelalem and partner in defence Per Mertesacker.

Arsenal seem to be making positive progress for future glory, but the question remains about Bacary Sagna and where his future stands.

Most fans would love to see Sagna, Koscielny & most importantly Wenger sign new deals

@Dev what kind of stability are you talking of? It is the same old Wenger that has brought that instability. If he leaves then definitely the club will be stable.

Arsenal had been there and shall be there without Mr. Wenger. I would like to ask Mr. Wenger he thinks those tops clubs you craves for in Europe will entertain your nonsense for 9 years? Enough is enough. Get us a new MANAGER. Usmanov please exercise your authority.

They should tie up Koscielny for at least another 5 years, he along with the BFG are the best in the perm.

Gregory van der Weil
That's who we need to replace Sagna.
As much as I'd love Bacary to stay and compete for Arsenal I feel he'll regret his move unless it's PSG.

put it this way the F.A Cup i believe will make or break whether wenger signs a new contract. if we win it we will hopefully get the wenger back of 98-04. nobody could touch him then as a manager
