This has possibly turned into one of the greatest weeks of late for Arsenal. Arsenal overcome Wigan in the semi-final to make their way to the Final and after tonight, with Everton losing out to Crystal Palace at home, the Gunners find themselves in 4th spot.

The 4th spot is becoming a bigger reality as Arsenal find themselves 1 point above Everton, while Everton still have to play the likes of both Manchester clubs.

If Arsenal were to win every game till the end of the season, Champions League football will be a definite as well as the FA Cup.

One would even feel if Arsenal had to drop points in a game, the 4th spot would surely be theirs, as to beat both Manchester Clubs may just be too difficult for Everton to handle.

Happiness at last for Arsenal fans as the future is looking bright.

We sign 3rd or 4th rate players and we finish 3rd or 4th!! See the pattern Arsene?? He must not be allowed to spend the war chest on more teenage projects or spanish kids who when they become top players clear of back to spain.We need new blood throughout,backroom staff are stale,i could live with Bouldy gettin the job!!'

Wenger must embrace winning ugly if he wants to get 4th. Some of the goals scored by Sunderland and Palace were scrappy affairs but they are still goals.
I f Wenger continues his purist stand,chances are the gunners could miss out on 4th and Wenger has to pay the price.
Imho,he is the only manager playing this style at the expense of winning..

I hope it aint too late for Arsenal to get 4th.Watch how Sunderland and Palace scored against Mc and Everton.The 2 lowly teams don't waste time passing all over the place like Arsenal do. They go direct .
If Wenger had played like that ,maybe the gunners will still be in the title hunt.With 4 games remaining it looks favourable for the gunners compared to Everton.
Wenger must go direct with OX and Rosicky or other gunners running at the defences.Then I can bet you the gunners wont give the other side time to regroup to stifle the gunners.

Everton had not lost for along and won 7 games in a row.This sort of sequence can't go on forever.I had expected Palace to draw at most but was pleasantly surprised when they won.
Now the ball is in Wenger's feet.On paper the gunners have it easy but you never know.
The West ham game may finally convince the fm of the need to win and win ugly rather than playing beautiful soccer with lateral passing instead of direct.
Hopefully with Rosicky or Ox running at defenders will become the norm for the last 4 games.

The notion that Arsenal will have to put up with at least two years in transition if Wenger were to leave,is a risk worth taking. Assuming if Wenger were to stay,it will be another two seasons of his flawed policies.
Now there is a chance of Arsenal getting 4th. If Wenger blows it,Arsenal will be better off with another guy.

Really?Can you trust Wenger to win the remaining 4 games?Not unless he stops his beautiful soccer and focus on wining and winning ugly ,if need be.Pulis put a damperner in Everton.How did he do it?Sunderland held MC to a 2-2 draw.Arsenal were slaughtered by MC and the other top2 plus Everton.
Pulis and Poyet did their hw in contrast to the fm who doesn't even conduct defence drills.If Wenger wants to show he is top manager,he better get the 4th,otherwise he shd be off asap.No more excuse. Time is running out.

Only looking bright if we sign few decent players! Yes girouds goal was a beaut! Yes podolski can play central! Even if we finish 4th and win cup we cannot lie to ourselves or wenger shouldn't use it as excuse!! We need at least 1 striker 1 DM 1 right back and 1 GK IMO! Still 4th and fa cup great acheivement!!! Coyg
