When it was announced that Cesc Fàbregas would be leaving the Camp Nou, it was safe to assume many Arsenal fans would have dreamed of the former Gunners captain returning to the club.

The 27-year-old was sensational during his previous spell and many of his goals and performances live long in the memory of Arsenal supporters.

However, although it seems certain the Spaniard will leave Barcelona. His next destination is anyone’s guess with it looking incredibly uncertain according to various reports.

Arsenal not interested?

Sky Sports La Liga expert Guillem Balague has been discussing the future of Fàbregas but has bad news for Arsenal fans, it seems.

Balague was quoted, and said:

"Barcelona have told Fàbregas to look for a team - but Arsenal are not interested. Barca want at least 35m euros - he cost 40m.

"There was a story in one of the Catalan papers on Monday afternoon saying that Chelsea and him have agreed to a deal - that's not true - not yet anyway - but Chelsea are a team would suit him, as would Manchester United.”

Meeting with Chelsea

Sky Sports believe Fàbregas has a £30 million release clause written in his current contract and that figure would be one that Chelsea could meet.

As Balague alluded too, reports have suggested that Fàbregas and Chelsea have agreed a deal already. Marca have reported that today.

Marca suggest the 27-year-old has passed a medical at the west London club and also state that Manchester City have pulled out of any possible deal. They also back up Sky Sports claims that Arsenal aren’t interested.

Mundo Deportivo were another paper that claimed Fàbregas was close to moving to Stamford Bridge and become Frank Lampard’s like for like replacement but Balague, as stated, refuted those claims.

Three bids

Manchester United are another team that have been linked with the World Cup winner and according to another report, from Sport.es, they have bid the highest amount for the Barcelona man.

Sport also insist that two other bids have been forthcoming – one from Chelsea and the other, surprisingly, from Arsenal.

Man United’s offer is apparently €43 million, while Chelsea and Arsenal have bid €40 million and €36 million respectively.

It means the future of the former Gunner is up in the air and it seems nobody knows where exactly he is going or what clubs are interested in the 27-year-old.

Arsenal fans will no doubt hold hope that Fàbregas does return to the Emirates but this may turn out to be a transfer saga that dominates the summer.

Lets allow change in the direction of the player's desires rule the day and lets learn not our sporting emotions be overtaken by hatred. All this makes Soccer the most beautiful game of all time. Can Cesc go where he desires most of the three teams bidding.

We must not let Cesc go to any other club. He is Arsenal and must come back to his second home. I can't imagine Cesc going anywhere else. He is our family.

Ballbague is a known liar who has been exposed countless times for the groundless charlatan that he is. Trusting a word he says is impossible as he has shown a complete lack of character throughout his "career" as a rumor peddler since the 90's. He is the one of the most laughable "pundits" in the media which - as you can imagine - takes some doing. Ignore this odious twerp and you will find yourself feeling much much better almost instantly. Ballbague is a vile and insidious little fool like the skinny, screeching hate monger in the playground who hides behind the bigger boys and starts all the fights then runs away like the coward he is..

Cesc may or may not come to us, but, relying on Ballague for the truth is a busted flush. Other agendas concern Ballague the voice of Spanish football was made to look stupid over the transfer of Ozil, which he knew nothing about, he's not had a kind word for Arsenal since.
