A report circulating in the Spanish press today is that Carlos Vela will not be returning to Arsenal. This is after Arsenal agreed to sell their clause for £8.8 million. This therefore, means that Real Sociedad will own the entire player without any buy back clauses.

This is another player along with Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa that you can cross of Arsene Wenger’s shopping spree.  This is good business by Arsenal as Carlos Vela doesn’t want to return anyway and most Arsenal fans are undecided.

Additionally, Arsenal have received money from Barcelona for the sale of Cesc Fabregas meaning that Arsenal have made a staggering £14.4 million on two previous players which we sold.

Another, rumour doing the round is that Arsenal are expected to bid for Seamus Coleman. This was tweeted by Sky Correspondent Edna Brady.

Arsene Wenger very keen on Seamus Coleman, I'm told. Expect a bid.”

This would be a welcome addition as this is the class of player we need to replace the departing Bacary Sagna who agreed a move to Manchester City. This is a deal that we should keep a close eye on however; it will take a lot of money to get Coleman out of Everton.

What will us happy in Gunners is to hear that Wenger has signed for top striker, central Defender, and a replacement for Sagna Bacary. News for bidding or scouting for players does not make us feel happy because it has been like that for 9 years without expected result

After Zableta coleman is the best right back in the prem, lets face is you spent 43 mil on someone who'll never justify the fee, arsenal are a club going backwards coz arsene wenger cant be arsed spending any money he only bought ozil so he didnt get the axe.

Lmfao I would go as far as saying if everton were to sell that's who they would replace with, man city fans will all tell you of richards quality and many are properly wondering why your paying sagna 150k a week when ya got a player much younger but just as good already!!!

Yeah, 'cos 25m is a lot to us isn't it? We spent double your transfer budget on one player last summer, you plank.

"Wildest dreams"? Hardly! LOL
I get that you blue bin-dipper fans like him, but you're as delusional as the average spud fan if you think Arsenal fans would be remotely excited by such a signing.
With all due respect, it takes the likes of Ozil to get us excited. I think most of us would be massively underwhelmed, tbh.

Everybody knows that Arsene is an extreme tightwad. He passed up the chance to sign Fabregas for £25m, so there is no chance he's going to sign Coleman as he'd have to pay the same amount. Everton don't have money problems anymore, either, with a transfer budget that's apparently around £30m. Essentially, Coleman won't be joining Arsenal.
