It is understood that PSG centre forward Ezequiel Lavezzi is Arsenal’s top target for up front.

This is after receiving impressive feedback from chief scout Steve Rowley.

Media reports suggest that PSG will listen to offers of around £15 million however; they will have to beat off competition from Chelsea.

Although Lavezzi is not prolific he can play in all 3 positions across the front.  Lavezzi had been impressive when playing for Napoli as he was touted by a lot of clubs, in 156 appearances for Napoli he scored 38 goals as well as contributing to 40 assists.

Lavezzi’s current stats at PSG read 60 appearances scoring 12 goals and contributing 11 assists.

Although, I would prefer Mario Balotelli, Lavezzi would be a welcomed boost and has a better temperament.

At the moment I believe it is all talk however, hopefully there will be some developments.

Lavezzi would be a perfect addition if he joins. So much pace and power like for like with Carzola if he leaves

12 goals in 60 appearances ! You must be joking . Get Mandzukic or Balotelli and stop messin around . A good centre half would score more . With the Arsenal scouting record in recent years leaving an awful lot to be desired I wouldn't go near any player they recommend.

i would definitely prefer balotelli or even his counterpart at PSG, Cavani (wishful thinking)

i could see this as a move to replace Cazorla on the wing if the rumors to Atletico are true ...
