As he is one of the stars of the World Cup so far, it is no surprise to see Alexis Sanchez, the Barcelona forward, linked with a whole host of clubs, 3 of which being in England.

It seems Barcelona are having a bit of a cleanout this summer and Sanchez is one of which who wishes to leave the club as he does not have the best relationship with Lionel Messi.

The news came out late on Wednesday evening by Spanish Radio station Cope on their website; according to their report Arsenal, Liverpool, United and Juventus are the clubs investigating the attacker’s availability.

Priority?

With The Ox fit, Walcott expected to be fit just after the start of the season, Gnabry and Joel Campbell returning to the club after successful loan spells, many Gooners may not think that a winger is exactly what we need.

There is no denying his talent, but majority would surely wish to sign a RB, CDM and a striker before even thinking about a winger as it seems we are spoilt for choice in that position, especially seeing as Cazorla and Podolski can play wide also.

Wow! We need him...yes. To win the premiership we need stunning players and not just 'good' players. Sanchez is a World class player. If we leave him to Chelski, or Man City or Man Utd he will make them potential League winners. We need the best if we really want to win the BIG prizes.

hey gooners, this guy wants to come to the premier league, so I think it is better we buy him than let him be a threat to us(and i dont think any of our player scores better than he does)

That is Arsenal fans for you, sometimes i just wonder if we really know what we need! We don`t need everybody, tomorrow now we start blaming Wenger for not signing this or that player.
We need attacking minded hustlers like Alexis Sanchez,Balotelli,La vezzi. If Carzola is heading back to spain,i suggest we bring in atleast two of these players, Sagna`s replacement,a DM, and a CB and a GK.

I agree with Nave squad is a bit thin and if you think about the lack of pace on the wings last season without Ox and Walcott it was disastrous, it also means we can deploy Walcott as a striker and Ox as central midfielder it gives options. Buy buy buy I say we don't want a team that pick itself every week we want stiff competion for places like in central midfield except back five which should be as consistant as possible.

Not sure we need him, but the same argument arises about Fabregas. The squad was horribly thin through winter last season, so we cannot pass up opportunities to recruit strong talent, even if they bench warm. Look at the depth of City's squad.

If we want to challenge on several fronts, we need more quality in, not out.
