Alexis Sánchez is the forward several Premier League teams are chasing and it appears Liverpool might have the upper hand after they met with Barcelona today.

Officials from the Catalan club have come to London today to meet Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre about a move for Luis Suárez and the Daily Express believe the future of Sánchez will be discussed.

Liverpool one step ahead of the rest?

They report that Liverpool may try to get the Chilean as part of any deal which sees their Uruguayan hitman depart Anfield.

Barcelona are apparently willing to include Sánchez in any deal with Liverpool therefore this is a transfer that could certainly occur.

AS back up claims from the Express over Barcelona’s willingness to allow their Chile winger to leave. They believe the Camp Nou outfit would accept an offer in the region of €30 million for his signature.

€25 million bid made

Meanwhile publication Vozpopuli believe Arsenal have made a €25 million bid already for the 25-year-old amid claims he is interested in moving to the Emirates.

No official quotes have come forward from the Chilean but the publication believes he would like a move to Arsenal.

Could he stay in Spain…

In a contradiction to the belief that Sánchez is after a move to Arsenal, various reports are suggesting his first option would be to remain at Barcelona and fight for his place.

The attacker enjoyed huge success last season despite Neymar joining the club and was arguably their best attacker behind Lionel Messi.

Another report in Spain suggests Atletico Madrid would like to sign him and offer a chance to stay in La Liga.

So while the likelihood is that the Chile ace will leave the Camp Nou, a stay in Spain can’t be ruled out completely. This saga will be one that keeps on giving.
