Alexis Sanchez is expected to be announced as an Arsenal player today and his completed transfer should coincide with the Gunners lunching their kit for the 2014/15 season.

Arsenal and Puma started their long-term partnership on July 1^st and at the time the club revealed several poignant dates.

On July 6^th Arsenal Ladies become the first Arsenal team to wear the Puma kit in the FA WSL Continental Cup game against Chelsea.

July 10^th kit lunch

The club also announced that the formal unveiling of the new Arsenal kit will take place on July 10^th and Sanchez will be announced alongside the new jersey.

Main Catalan radio station RAC1 reported that Sanchez had passed his medical at Arsenal and they expect him to be announced as an Arsenal player today to add further weight to the aforementioned claims.

Meanwhile, if anybody is still concerned about the Gunners signing the Chile forward – his Catalan hairdresser has reiterated that Sanchez will move to London.

Barber confirms switch

The Chile attackers barber Carlos Moles posted a message on the official Carlosmoles salon Facebook page yesterday confirmed the Barcelona ace would be leaving.

Independent quoted Moles, he wrote:

“Alexis Sanchez said goodbye. Just as the newspaper ‘Sport’ confirmed, Alexis is leaving FC Barcelona to start a new phase of his career at Arsenal.

“During the three seasons that he was at Barca, the whole team at Carlosmoles salon, enjoyed having him.”

So Sanchez will be an Arsenal player shortly and you can expect the kit announcement to coincide with his announcement.

It appears there are exciting times ahead at the Emirates.
