After the excitement of signing Sanchez, news that Remy and Khedira will not be joining has brought the euphoria levels down a notch or two. The worry is that Wenger will revert back to form and we will see another frustrating summer of top targets being passed over due to high wage demands.

We had the opportunity to buy Suarez last season and had we done so, we would be celebrating another famous double, not just the FA cup. Had we bought Benteke, Ba or Michu, we would have had a chance. Instead we paid top dollar for Ozil and then scrimped and saved on Sanogo.

Giroud performed admirably but he eventually ran out of steam as our midfield ran out of ideas. Injuries, as they always do, took their toll and our lack of striking options meant that we once again stalled at the business end.

With Alexis Sanchez in the bag and none of our stars looking to leave, now is the time to push on and add another stellar signing.

It’s clear that Balotelli wants to join as does Jackson Martinez; a punt on either will add another dimension.

Khedira is a world class player having won the World Cup and the Champions League in the last 2 months alone. Talent like that doesn’t come cheap. But we can afford it.

What we cannot afford is to not sign him, or a player of similar class. Bender and Schneiderlin have been mentioned but is either a patch on Khedira? I don't think so.

Having chosen not to bring Fabregas back to the Emirates, you’d imagine that Wenger has something up his sleeve. The development of Gnabry and Zelalem promises much and with The Ox, Wilshere and Joel Campbell returning from the World cup with points to prove the season looks very exciting indeed. But we don't want to rely on promise, youth and hope this year, nor do we need to.

We don't need to rebuild like Chelsea, United or Liverpool, we just need a bit of icing and a big fat cherry on top. Then we can take back our rightful place at the top of the Prem.

If we get ospina, khedira, and cover centre bakcs then we r complete, but we are just unlucky that real Madrid happen to be buying James Rodriguez and khedira will go to Monaco as part of the deal. Dont really want balotelli though coz causes a lot of trouble

We need Khedira Wenger. If we don't buy him we'll only get 4th place.

Wenger is lying that arsenal cant pay khedira he is just saving a little more. Remember arsenal loses focus only at the end of the season when we are having tired legs and so many injuries with no option but to play our little boys against serious buyers like chelsea or man city etc.

Lack of cover at centre back remains our weak spot. Last season Arsenal were lucky with regards to injuries in defensive position's. This season our luck might run out

giroud sanchez Walcott ox sanogo joel cambell is the best strike force weve been able to use in a long time the simple fact the prof also has the chance to bring back carlos vela back give sme the idea theres more need to get a dm'er a keeper of some class and wive last years signing of mesut theres more sence in keeping funds back to use as a wage booster to get khiedra' the mans a talent weve missed for a long time

There can be no doubt that Vermaelen will leave and without Sagna around to fill in at CB we are extremely exposed.
Having waited an inordinate length of time Arenal supporters still hope for a proper and dynamic central midfielder...capable of protecting the back four in a way that Arteta was incapable, last season...especially in the games that mattered.Although I'm mortified to see Wnger quotes extolling the virtues of Diaby..he is not and will never be the answer!!
Presumeably the goalkeeping conundrum will imminently be settled although I would have preferred to have seen Arsenal linked to Vorm rather than the Spuds.
These three appointments represent the bare minimum although I still worry about the fragility of the back four against better and more mobile attacking teams.

You are completely oblivious of the budget constraints that Arsenal still has. With no significant player sales, the club cannot realistically be expected to spend in excess of 50 million pounds this summer. So with 45 million already splashed on Sanchez and Debuchy, I just expect another few on a GK and that's it. Except, of course somebody leaves and releases some more funds. We gooners must be reminded that the pocket is still not as deep as we would love to hear and read.
