Reports in Greece are suggesting that the deal to bring Kostas Manolas is close to be completed.

An Olympiakos fan relayed the information on twitter which is being reported in one of their papers.

“Arsenal & Olympiakos have found an agreement of €11 million for Kostas Manolas, he will be earning around €1.5 million a year. (@sport24)”

This was then followed by a report in the Independent claiming the medical has been completed.

This is more positive news for Arsenal fans as we need one more centre half especially when you consider Koscielny is carrying an Achilles injury.

This would be the fifth deal of the summer with others in the pipe line.

It looks like Wenger is remaining active replacing any outgoings and trying to strengthen in all areas.

This leaves him with a defensive midfielder and maybe a striker which is needed.

The area he needs to strengthen most is up front, we need a striker not a joke like Giroud who is an embarrassment to the team and the club.
