Guillem Balague believes German midfielder Sami Khedira has a “personal agreement” with Arsenal over a transfer.

The La Liga specialist revealed the news on his twitter account when discussing whether Chelsea could sign the World Cup winner.

Linked with both Chelsea and Arsenal

The Real Madrid ace is looking to leave Spain and has been linked with Premier League clubs Arsenal and Chelsea since the start of the summer.

Balague said on Twitter that José Mourinho is reluctant to enter talks with Khedira because of his agreement with Arsenal.

The Sky pundit said:

“Khedira: Mourinho reluctant to enter an auction cause he thinks payer has a personal deal with Arsenal.

“His agent denies it. Real Madrid want him to go.”

Arsenal also received another boost today when Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti admitted a deal for Khedira to leave Spain could be possible.

‘We’ll see what happens’

Ancelotti did insist that the German hasn’t put in a transfer request, like fellow midfielder Angel di Maria has.

Metro quoted the former Chelsea manager, he said:

“Khedira’s situation is different than Di Maria’s situation.

“He has just one more year to go on his current contract and he has only recently come back from a serious injury.

“We will see what happens, but he has not requested a transfer.”

It is believed that an injury sustained to Mikel Arteta has seen Arsene Wenger step up his interest in signing the German midfielder and the latest noises from Spain are positive regarding the move.

With little time to go until the transfer window ends, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal can come to an agreement with Real Madrid and make Khedira the fourth full German international at the Emirates.

We need kedhira but you so called arsenal fans that think sanogo is more worthy than giroud are deluded!!! Sanogo should be gone. We start using Campbell and giroud needs showing some respect after carrying us all of last season just coz he ain't no messi he's still a quality striker who done us proud last year. Il be happy for him to stay but we need someone to help him out doesn't have to be world class aslong as he can bang goals and not be afraid to shoot from anywhere

Didn't catch a word of that mate, a little louder please sunshine.

I didn't even read the post, I might wholeheartedly agree or passionately disagree with it. Neither I nor you will ever know.
I, the mirage of ambiguity, do not however, under any circumstance imaginable (my the standard human mind) tergiversate... or do I?

look in my opinion, arsenal needs 3 things to enable us win the BPL Title for 2014/2015 and they are as follows:
1. striker, very good on the ball& strong
2. skillful DM (strong with height)
3. A dependable defender, strong with height. I believe when this is done there will be no place for air 2 escape.

Arsene Wenger Knows all what is Needed to Strenghteen the Squad,in terms of A Hot STRIKER, DM, & A Capaable DEFENDER. But I dont No why Wenger is still Prolonging the Issue of Buy those Players When He Knew that He Needed Them so Much to make the Team much Fearless & Indomitable......... ..#Arsenal 4 Life#

signing kedhira will really boost our squad vis-a-vis quality and depth! but we shall still be handicapped if giroud remains our first choice striker! who doesn't see he waste the team?! AW should instead use Campbell, Sanchez, sanago and walcott, to pair as right winger and CF!! also carzola should be rested for AOC to start! #coyg

After the CL game in Istanbul, it's clear we need to boost the team. We need top class striker,DM & Defender.
Cavani, khedira & Jarome.

Why is it every time Wenger wld want to fill a certain position as if we never had a player once there. from position 1-11 we once had world class players but why do they leave so easily. we need to learn to keep them rather than letting them go. This is one big thing that Arsenal fans cant see n they will never see. they have too much believe in Wenger. but things has started to change for this time wont be easy to knock Basikta even at Ashburton. always a champions league place is convinient for us but we look like we shall start to miss.
+5 #8 Mike 2014-08-22 09:21
Khedira and cavani, that's all Arsenal needs. If they get both, the EPL is theirs to take.
+2 #7 Delford Magaya 2014-08-22 07:06
Arsene Wenger says he cannot rule out the possibility of signing other players. That means there is still time for Arsene Wenger to sign maybe two other players. Lets wait and see what he is going to do before we judge him.
+4 #6 ArrSoNear 2014-08-22 04:46
Again!
We r talking about signing good players to win the TITLE for this season and not for next season which means they need to be signed much earlier for selection!
So what if Arsenal lose the coming CL game to Besiktas ???
We r still interested to win the PL TITLE right?
Need to decide fast!
Even not the wish list players starts earlier could have helped to pick up points that we risk to lose!
Act fast!
Time is everything!
+3 #5 ArrSoNear 2014-08-22 04:37
So............Slow,slow...
Whoever DM,LM needed or eventually may sign could have been featured in coming Everton and Besiktas game!
We are talking about winning the TITLE and beating a TEAM like Everton or Besiktas should be a given! Not hoping to DRAW!!
Don't they know?

-13 #3 Davith 2014-08-21 21:48
Why don't we go for Song, he is a known product and knows Arsenal well. He would fulfil the position in the short term, whilst Wenger finds a long term solution to our center back problems. Beginning to think we need another left back, as Gibbs appears to be injury prone.
