Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud goals deny Everton victory as Arsenal fight back to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

Mathieu Flamini:

"We'll say it's a great performance because we were 2-0 down. It was great spirit from the boys because it was not easy.

"At half-time the manager said there was space to create opportunities and we believed we could do it.

"We have learned a lot from last year from when we were playing against these top teams. We didn't give up until the last second and that was important. This is a game to remember for us."

Arsene Wenger:

"We have a great response with complete desire to come back and the spirit was fantastic.

"In the end we got back to 2-2 and we got a strong point but a deserved one if you look at the chances we had, especially in the second half. We came back very late but our spirit got us a point.

"It shows the belief and the resilience is there. The second goal was offside but we took it on the chin and came back."

Roberto Martinez:

"We ran out of energy and it became a feeling of wanting the game to end. We are not that sort of side that's not the way we play.

"I was delighted with the performance for 80 minutes I thought the first half was phenomenal. We'll make sure going forward we make it a 90-minute performance."

Wenger was thinking of the Euro game when he picked his team. Not the best starting line up cost us early goals - but we do have the power to comeback when the best players are on the pitch. Good luck this week. We looking forward to playing in Euro this year. BTW Chamberlaine played well.

Seamus coalman is prob the best right back in the premiership at the moment so any player will have to be on top of there game when the come up against him. I think the worst thing that happened to wilshire was to score that goal last year. He is afraid to shoot from inside the box, i would say in the last 3 games he has had chances to do so but tried to walk the ball into the goal. 4points is a good start seen as we could have only 1 only for last gasp goals but this is a good sign.

The highlight of that game was getting away with a point. Nuff said.

this 4-1-4-1 formation is a mistake. I dont see DM action against everton. and also arsenal need to stop pass in front of goal and try to shoot long range. and the striker need a partner up front not always holding up ball waiting for teammates to arrive.
sorry for bad grammar.

It was a point well earned. Im nof gonna boast but what did i say? GIROUD IS GOOD WHEN HE CAME OFF THE BENCH! its like he was just juiced with so much energy and strenght and if he could get that first goal from his first touch, damn it would have been the icing on the cake! Anyway, we could not deny the fact that we are too small and lazy. Last week Sanchez, this week Ozil. Thsy have to buck up cause BBVA and EPL is two different leagues. Maybe its too early for Ozil but withis is only Coleman, a small right back. Imagine the likes of Ivanovic and Zabaleta. If they could were given that kind of service everyday, its GameOver for us. Anyway, great comeback! Now, our second leg! GO GUNNERS! \m/

we earned a valid point today but the truth is we were not strong in the middle so we still need a defensive midfielder of high quality if we want to be serious tittle contenders this season
