It wasn’t long ago that Arsene Wenger welcomed his long-term absentees in Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil back into the first team and it now seems he is set to lose out on two more players due to injuries.

Aaron Ramsey came on as a substitute against Leicester City and played a meagre of nine minutes of Premier League football before succumbing to his third hamstring injury of the season. This comes as a major concern for the struggling Welshman, who averaged 0.47 goals per game last season.

As of now, Arsenal and Arsene Wenger are oblivious of the underlying reason why he keeps picking up injuries of the same ilk lately. The French manager lauded his hard work and lifestyle and asserted that it is impossible for someone like him to have problems of this fashion.

“We haven’t found the underlying reason. There’s an underlying reason that’s certainly medical or bio-mechanical. He is a guy, who is serious, works hard and has a controlled and disciplined life, so there is no obvious reason why he should have muscular problems.”

Another injury concern is Alexis Sanchez, who has fallen short of fitness despite his solemn attempts to claim fitness. Speaking to Arsenal Player, Arsene Wenger announced that the Chilean could not make it to the training session and will therefore be unavailable for selection against Middlesbrough.

“Alexis Sanchez is still not able to go out. He could be short for Sunday.”

Arsene Wenger stated earlier today that Emirates Stadium will stage his fringe players on Sunday and with the recent injuries, Arsenal supporters may expect the likes of Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky to feature in the starting eleven.

I agree with you to some extend. But the biggest issue appear to be springing up from the fact that arsenal has a limited squad. They mostly use none or slight physical approach of play. Most of the Plyer s being not being mature enough.

I thought we bought in a new team of physios to resolve these continuous injury problems??
There is something wrong with our medical team, we have the worst injury record in the premiership. How can we win trophies if we fail to field a settled team.
