Arsene Wenger brought down Alexis Sanchez in a deal worth £32million from Barcelona last season, but the Arsenal manager looks coy not to raid Camp Nou for yet another forward player as his sights are set on Munir El Haddadi this term.

Spanish media suggest that the Gunners are in advanced talks with the Spanish outfit over a loan deal for the 19-year-old and it is believed that Arsene Wenger wants an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the next campaign after failing in his attempts to land the highly-rated forward last winter.

The Spanish international is apparently unhappy with his playing time limited under Luis Enrique and wants to push through a deal away from Barcelona this summer as he no longer wants to feature only in Segunda Division and watch as a trio of Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi deny him of his first-team chances.

Barcelona are reluctant to let their youth product go unless Arsene Wenger makes a lucrative offer for the outcast, but it is believed that the striker and his agent are set to meet up with Barcelona representatives to discuss his future.

Arsene Wenger sees the youngster as a perfect fixture in an Arsenal team as he seemingly possesses enticing attributes such as pace and dribbles, not to mention his eye for the goal. At a tender age of nineteen, he may well be touted to form a striking partnership with Chuba Akpom in the years to come, if the transfer comes to fruition.

Messi and Ronaldo were also 19 at some stage. Sign him if we can

Agree what we require is proven quality now, not for the future. we have enough of these players who cannot break into the current squad

I really don't buy into this deal. What we need is a world class striker not a player to nurse to stardom. Look at Chelsea team and tell me if there is a 19yrs old there. Arsene should understand the philosophy in sports management, we have gone past the era of building and now in the era to WIN trophies. If he can't do that, then bring in KLOPP. I am just sick of Wenger ideology.

Munir al-Haddadi is one of the best players of his generation. He can play across the front three.
He possesses electric pace, is technically excellent, & has a powerful left foot, although his right isn't bad either.
His trouble is simply the Messi, Neymar, Suarez trio.
Taking one of their places is almost impossible.
If there's even the remotest chance...
We must try to buy him.

I think there is some thing lacking in Wengers mind. What attitude he has developed toward trophy / cup wining is surprising. I think he has lost his vision. A club to fight for trophies doesn't require players of less than 22 years in my thinking. Why should he think of what it will be not what it should be. Wenger needs to change his policy or else he needs to be shown exit out of Arsenal, for fans' sake.

This looks like another nursery job for us.if he turns out great then barca say cheers we,l have him back now, just like theyr gonna do with Bellerin, also I don't see 19yr old prospects at title winning clubs.just top players, where would we be this season without Sanchez? Arsene constantly fiddles round the edges not quite completing the team!!
