Despite Chelsea clinching the title, Arsenal have been the team to beat this calendar year and Arsene Wenger hopes to carry their current form to the next season as the French manager lays his team to launch an all-out attack at the title next season with a summer scoop of two Premier League players.

Petr Cech has been embroiled in transfer rumours linking him with the Gunners as he does not seem interested in playing second string to Thibaut Courtois.

Arsene Wenger is reportedly confident of pulling a deal off for the Chelsea shot-stopper ahead of Liverpool.

Even though it is highly unlikely that the French manager would dislodge his number-one David Ospina for the 32-year-old, it is believed that he could be available at a bargain price of £10million and there are not many managers, who would dare to snub such quality, especially when it comes on a cheap.

Morgan Schneiderlin has been a regular fixture in every Arsenal news column and he has found his name linked with the London club again as strong media suggestions state that the Frenchman could be on his way to Emirates Stadium this summer.

The Southampton stalwart has time and again expressed his desire to leave the Saints’ roster in favour of a move to a Champions League side and he was inches away from signing on the dotted lines before his club ruled out a move citing the exodus last summer.

Francis Coquelin has been imperious at the midfield this season, but could be forced to fight for his spot next campaign as Arsene Wenger looks to complete the signing of his compatriot in Morgan Schneiderlin for £25million.

Exactly Wenger's need to wbiden his squad by selling of the likes Arteta, Flamine, Diane to be in position expenditures. However consider bringing in plays to cover number 1, 5, 6, and 9. This is just to help have abroad squard able to compete favorably with Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, . . .

If we want to become really world class (we are not far from it!) we need to purchase a deadly finisher who can convert half chances (Someone like Suarez). This should be our priority.

Whilst Wenger proved me wrong and has achieved a credible finish to the season, I am concerned that he feels that there is little need to improve the squad. Most top teams improve their squads by pruning the deadwood, and acquiring new talent (look at Man C/U and Chelsea) If we do not undertake this action, then we will not be able to catch Chelsea, and possible struggle for a top four place. Please Wenger prove me wrong again and chop out the deadwood and purchase a new spine, goalkeeper, central defender, defensive midfielder and an option to Giro please
