According to fresh reports from England, Arsene Wenger may be tempted to calculate the possibility of bringing down unsettled Manchester United ace Angel di Maria to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

The Argentine, along with Radamel Falcao was a part of Louis van Gaal's audacious plan last summer, but akin to most other signings, he has not emulated the form that had brought him to Old Trafford. Thanks to the unlikely rise in prominence of Ashley Young, he was found on the substitutes list more often than not.

Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain were reported to have kept tabs on the former Real Madrid star in an attempt to reinvigorate his career for their own good and the winger himself is apparently keen on a move away from Manchester United.

Arsenal brought down Danny Welbeck from their arch-nemeses only the previous season and luring yet another Manchester United player to their turf could emphasize on their recent drastic revival.

The London club, having overcome their financial constraints, will not find any difficulty in shelling out the monies that the Red Devils may ask for, but his wage demands could be a hindrance as the best paid Arsenal player currently makes £100,000 less than what he makes weekly.

However, in the unlikely event of the former Real Madrid superstar accepting a wage-cut, one can expect Arsene Wenger to wear his cheeky smirk.

Although it's always pleasurable to poke the Salford Diving Society in the eye, do we need him? Notice my frugal use of capitalized words - it's more polite not to (internet) shout.

DI MARIA - hope not that LVG will repeat another big mistake to sell to arch rivals ARSENAL.
remembe when UTD really wanted VERMAAELEN and WENGER prefered to sell to any team but not UNITED.
