While Arturo Vidal rumours still deny to disappear, Juventus are now linked with the Gunners over another midfielder.

To the dismay of Arsenal supporters, Mesut Ozil is the midfielder, who is now being caught between the two teams in the rumour mill.

Italian newspaper Tuttosport claims that the German international is on the radar of the Torino based club, who are now desperate to add quality to their midfield following the departure of Andrea Pirlo.

Given the fact that Paul Pogba is all but set to leave the Juventus Stadium shortly, Mesut Ozil rumours seem to make sense.

Arsenal brought down the 26-year-old from Real Madrid in exchange for £42.5million only two seasons ago and it is a truism that the Emirates Stadium still has not witnessed his fullest potential even though he delivers regularly.

The German international still has at least five potentially fruitful years under his belt and selling him for a loss is ostensibly not the wisest idea that Arsene Wenger could come up with.

The French manager may not think twice before turning the bid down, but it is believed that the Italian legends will come knocking for the world-class playmaker next summer in the event of them failing in their bids to land him.

Even though it is highly unlikely that Juventus sign him, these rumours signal that the European heavyweights have set their sights on our number ten.
