According to L'Equipe Yann M’vila looks set to leave Rennes in the winter.

During the last few months, M’vila’ attitude and footballing quality has been questioned. He has both been it with injuries and has struggled to break into the French national XI team. Bad behaviour off the pitch has been a factor as well.

But we do know the quality M’vila has. At the age of 22, he has it all going for him. A tall, 6’0 foot, well built holding central midfielder would settle into the Premiership quite nicely. It could be the birth of a new footballing legend.

The 22 year old French holding midfielder has been linked with both QPR and Zenit St Petersburg. M’vila’ agent knows QPR are only willing to pay €8 million but hopes for a higher bid for the rated star.

Over the last year or so, Arsenal too have been linked with a move for Yann M’vila and he is exactly what we need. Since the departure of Alex Song to Barcelona, our Midfield has lost the balance it once had.

Wilshere, Cazorla and Arteta are all very similar players. They like to get forward, support the attack and score a few goals but when the ball is lost, who is there to cover and break up the oppositions attack ? M’vila would be perfect no?

It is disappointing to hear that Arsenal have made no interest in the signing of M’vila after all the speculation. The purchase of Cazorla proves what talent you can find when you spend big and it doesn't look like Rennes are asking for a hefty sum of money.

We all know Arsene like a Frenchman and he does know the quality M’vila could bring to the side. It shows again that Wenger has been indecisive during the time the transfer window has been open.

But, there is still time on the clock..

Diaby is a crock and a waste of a squad place..any other manager would have shipped him off years ago

Thats the difference between those managers and our manager..he loves his players and believes them too much...but they are not consistent

All this talk about where Diaby can play is a waste of breath....he is never going to be fit enough for a run in the side. The two players we need are Fellaini and Leighton Baines, however AW will never spend that kind of money, even though it is allegedly available and why would they leave Everton, when on current form they have more chance of being in the Champions League than we do!!!

Etienne capoue is far better than m'vila from all perspective.

Yes Capoue is better than M'Vila. There are 3 more better options "Fellaini,Gustavo & Lars Bender"

Because 'Deeb' there is no logic at all in that - and if u think Diaby is a holding midfielder you are too stupid to explain this further

I hate to break it to you but diaby IS a holding midfielder, so in the future don't call people stupid for getting something right.

Lol, you oaf! Diaby is more an Arteta type player, attack minded and box to box, NOT a holding mid.

Diaby is an attacking midfielder and always was, even being played as a no. 10 for france u21's and our reserves on occasions.

Diaby is a box to box midfielder. Like Vieira once was. Helps the attack and gets forward but clears up at the back

M'vila your right club is arsenal because we need you at arsenal before the game against man city. You are welcome to the Emirate Stadium!

Despite Zenit being the most publicly racist club in the world, refusing to field (or sign) black players.

Well done on this stupid rumour.

you need to examine Hulk and Alex Witsel skin colour before posting stupid comments

Mvilla makes Balotelli's external habits look like a monk. He is a nightmare to control and will be extremely detrimental. Banned from international football for 18months, he is a loathed figure for his club & country. No way Arsene should sign him
+1 #1 deeb 2013-01-07 12:26
it's simple. we get this guy, and get rid of the treatment table hogger that is Abou Diaby. Now, why doesn't Wenger see the logic in this?
