Not much action during this transfer window is a worry for some Arsenal fans. However the return of Abou Diaby acts as a transfer in itself.

The 26 year old Frenchman has been out for the majority of this season due to injury but looks set to make a comeback against Manchester City this weekend.

Spending most of his career in the hospital bed has made Arsenal fans think about the importance of his role in the team but his return could be a large boost for the team who have been playing nervous football as of late.

His return saw him take part in an Under-21 match against West Brom today. Despite his long absence, he still has the quality Wenger sees in him by setting up fellow injury victim Andre Santos to score and equalise for Arsenal making it 1-1.

As well, the promising young Ghanaian in Emmanuel Frimpong has also made his comeback after having spent the last few weeks on-loan at Charlton. Frimpong had recovered from a cruciate ligament injury during his spell at the Charlton an looks to return to the North London side.

Moving forward, Vito Mannone has discarded a small knock and looks set to impress in training ahead of the weekend’s clash with Champions of England - City.

A full strength squad is getting closer and without a movement in the transfer window so far, every little helps. The return of these injuries will bolster both confidence and strength in line up in our bid to creep higher up the table.

Diaby is playing for the U-21′s because
according to Rosickys injury age algorithm
(the ‘Rosicky Coefficient’) he’s only 15 and a
half.

The fact that Wenger has poisoned Arsenal fans to believe that returns from injuries are new signings is disgusting. We need new players, not old ones coming back. I don't doubt Diaby is a good player but it should not be named as a signing.

Wengers up to his old tricks once again,
Diaby,is back in full training so we don't need another midfielder,Wengers been saying this for the last three seasons, then what happens,he plays three games, and then he's out for six months,
when is that,"POOR EXCUSE OF A MANAGER
WENGER"going to realize,Diaby is finished,so pay him off,and get someone
else,that's not rocket science,Arsene,
just common sense,so pull your finger out.

The return of Diaby is a good boost 2 the squad. But still we still need 2 sign a first class striker in order 2 challenge for trophies.

Oh, No, we've heard this rubbish before. Diably cannot be relied upon to be fit for long. Its all an excuse to kid us. An insult.
Its about time our M>Ps took some action to give us back our football clubs.
But the Old Etonians ruin the Country just like the Bracewell-Smiths and Hill-Woods two lots of Old Etonians who considered us as Plebs.
