Arsene Wenger has revealed the latest injury news ahead of Arsenal's FA Cup clash with Blackburn. With many players expected to return from short-term injuries, though most will likely be rested for the rather more important game (arguably) on Tuesday.

Super Jack, saved for Munich

Jack Wilshere faces a fitness test, with his chances rated at 50-50 by Arsene Wenger.

It's likely that he will strategically fail this test or only make the bench, with the manager very clear that the midfielder would only be risked if totally fit.

It's likely that Jack will be deployed in the same role he was for Brighton, in the nature of an emergency substitute.

You'd hope playing at home against an indifferent Blackburn side, Arsenal shouldn't need him, but you can never be sure.

Back 4 back to normal?

Laurent Koscielny and Thomas Vermaelen also face fitness tests, but their chances are rated far higher and at least one of the two will likely start in the FA Cup tie.

Vermaelen is rated 90-10 for the game, so you'd imagine the captain will start, to gain freshness for taking over the left-back role against Bayern.

The Belgian faces Thomas Muller or Arjen Robben, so rustiness is not really an option.

Koscielny may be seen as less dispensable, though he could replace Per Mertesacker, who has played a lot of games recently as the only constantly fit centre-back.

In less urgent news, Kieran Gibbs has a 'small chance' to return for the second leg against Bayern.

Possible teams

A slightly rotated side should be named against Blackburn, so players like Francis Coquelin, Abou Diaby, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and even youngsters like Hector Bellerin and Ignasi Miquel could get a run-out.

A likely line-up would look like this, with a few variables:

Szceszny; Monreal, Vermaelen, Mertesacker/Miquel, Sagna; Ramsey/Diaby, Arteta, Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott/Podolski, Giroud
