Bayern Munich are one of the powerhouse’s of World football, having won the European cup four times, and the German Bundesliga a record 22 times, and are currently running away with the league, 15 points clear of second place Borussia Dortmund. They will be more determined than ever to win the Champions League after losing the final last year in their own back yard to Chelsea on penalties after controlling most of the match.

Bayern Munich has a defensive record which bears similarities to George Graham’s Arsenal side, having not conceded a goal in over 10 hours of football, and only conceded 7 goals in 22 league matches this season.

With Pep Guardiola preparing to come in as the new manager of Bayern Munich in the summer, the players will be eager to impress the new manager, and winning the Champions League would be one way to do that.

Where we can win the game

If Wilshere and Cazorla play well, then Arsenal play well, is the general consensus. Therefore these two need to play as well as they can, as everything the team does well comes through these two. Considering they had a breather on Saturday and only played 20 minutes, they should be refreshed and raring to go.

Bayern Munich has a very good defence and have not conceded a goal in over 10 hours of football. This means that when they get a chance Giroud and Walcott must capitalise, especially as these two have been known to waste many chances.

Arsenal’s defence must also be watertight for the tie, because with an attacking force of Robben, Ribery, Gomez, Muller and Kroos, Bayern will create chances. As Chelsea showed in last year’s Champions League Final you can stifle this team and restrict them if your defence is solid.

Bayern or Bust

As all Gooners will know, this is the last available bit of silverware for Arsenal to win this season, and as such the fans will be expecting a big performance against Bayern Munich.

Whilst many fans have been growing weary of manager Wenger for a while now, Saturday’s defeat at the hands of Blackburn was the last straw for many fans. His refusal to strengthen the squad and the fact that we haven’t won a trophy since the 2005 FA Cup Final mean that unless the team puts in a very good performance against Bayern then he will finally have lost fan support.

We must mount a serious challenge in this tie, because fourth place is not a trophy!

Lets not put the best team out because we have to start the new league year in August and we don't want anyone hurt.
Sorry just a little bitter after the weekend.
We can beat BM but Jack must be on great form. His blazing runs into the box draws 3/4 defenders and gives the other guys room. When he is not playing or playing well, we are too easy to defend against and don't have stikers who can make thier own room.
Viva Gooners.

Sure we can win this.
We wouldn't have come this far in the tournament if we were not good enough.

We can win this if every player has his role clearly defined and they deliver what is expected.

Its the manager's responsibility that each player is aware of his position on the pitch and what is expected of him.

We can win this if our players play as a team and play their hearts out.

heres the thing we may beat bayern tomorrow but can we realistically win the tie?? i dunno. if we struggle to beat bradford and blackburn what hope do we have. we have to play a high tempo risk free game if such a thing occurs with us. we all know bayern have a monstrous attack but so do we when we get it right. wilshere and walcott i think are the only two can do any real damage on bayern someone else has to stand up aswell though, like a podolski or a giroud someone

We were playing on the counter at the start of the season, we lost Gibbs who was giving our defence the balance and it all went to pot. Drop the zonal bollocks, play man for man. Break play down and attack fast rather than "possession is key" possession doesn't win games. High tempo. Use the subs sensibly (when the game is tiring bring on diaby to go box to box, Ox and Rosicky for fresh legs)

No team is unbeatable. Of course BM will start as favourites.Arsenal have no margin for error. BM have not been beaten for along time . To be exact since Oct 28 2012.
If Arsenal are not wasteful and take their chances, they could edge the game 1-0,provided the defence stays water tight and the gk doesn;t punch the ball to a BM player.

Why not play anti soccer for a change? Wenger has got to realise his pretty, pattern passing soccer aint going to win matches.
Hit BM on the counter like some teams do and you will realise it may work.I believe if Arsenal go kamikaze on the attack, they will be ripe for plucking by BM. Chelsea and MU have used it to beat Arsenal time and again because Wenger doesn't change his tactics.I believe failure in the race for the cl spot and defeat by BM,will force him to move if not change his mindset.
