Like that spot on the floor that just won’t go away, Nicklas Bendtner has been sponging off Arsenal’s wage bill for two years now, languishing on loan across Europe.

However, he’s now promised he’ll leave Arsenal in two weeks. In talks with “five or six” clubs in Europe, he expects to have a permanent deal wrapped up soon.

However, he’s said this before and has displayed an incredible ego problem when selecting a new club. He turned down Hamburg in January because they were not “prestigious” enough and seems to have it in his head he’s a Champions League player. He’s not, and he should realise this soon.  Hell, with six clubs interested SOMEBODY’S got to agree to take him and his 52k-per-week off our hands.

Capoue

Arsenal, Spurs and Everton target Etienne Capoue has been told he can leave Toulouse if a ‘good proposition’ is made to the French side. Arsenal had a deal agreed with the defensive midfielder in January but the move was blocked on deadline day. However, the Frenchman is now free to move, as long as a decent offer is made.

With Arsenal’s interest in Fellaini widely known, Capoue would make an acceptable backup option, although his passing is suspect, and there are doubts about his technical ability.

A £10m bid was rejected in January from QPR, so that will give some indication as to the asking price.

1. If Bendtner was a bit humble I think Wenger would have made him into a fantastic player but he wants to start every game and he isn't performing #goodridance

2. I would rather see Gonalons, Gustavo or Wanyama in our colours. Capoue is a bit inconsistent.

I used to think Bendtner was an average player when playing for Arsenal, you could expect him to turn up in 30% of games. However, for some reason towards the end at Arsenal, he seems to have gained an overinflated view of his own worth and ability, while letting his club and country down. Maybe he has mental problems, and needs serious help? He is like a comedy wrestler in the ring at the moment, who promises much but delivers nothing.I doubt if any of the clubs who want him are even at Championship level. If he does have mental problems, which looks likely at the moment, his so say mentors should step in and help him, rather than milking him.
