Arsenal got back to winning ways in the Premier League to reduce Leicester’s lead to five points. Goals from Ӧzil and Oxlade-Chamberlain were enough to seal the three points.

An important win as Arsenal progress to the next round. Not as comfortable as some Arsenal fans may have liked but the win was the most important thing. The match saw Elneny make his debut. Chambers opened the scoring before Vokes levelled. Sanchez then won it early in the second half.

A disappointing afternoon for Arsenal who had a tough task after going down to 10 men early on. Costa was running through on goal when Mertesacker went to ground and fouled the striker. Costa then scored and after that point Arsenal gave it their best but couldn’t find a way through.

Sunday afternoon saw Arsenal get a draw away at Stoke which was largely due to Petr Cech in goal who secured a point late on.

Arsenal ran out winners in the FA cup third round but it wasn’t as comfortable as the score line would suggest. Arsenal gifted the opening goal to Sunderland with Koscielny trying to do a step over on the edge of his own box.
