Liverpool’s Luis Suarez has all but ended any speculation concerning his future by reportedly apologising to his teammates about his summer conduct, and resuming first team training.

Suarez gave chasers Arsenal a glimmer of hope of signing him when he denied reports detailing how he could sign a new Liverpool contract, meaning he would still be available.

This supposedly sparked the Gunners into action, tabling a £49million offer, however today’s circumstances definitely support evidence for Suarez staying put.
