An hour after Sky Sports News predicted the official signing of Mesut Ozil would take place; the club are still yet to make the announcement concrete.
The 2nd largest Premier League import ever, Ozil was supposedly expected to be announced as an Arsenal player at 6pm according to Sky.
No panic Arsenal fans, there is no danger of the deal falling through however with a deal as big as this one, everyone around the club is on tenterhooks to see when Ozil will be presented as an Arsenal player.

After the initial hype, it looked hopeful that Ozil could bring with him Madrid teammate Angel di Maria, however reports are emerging that it was one or the other when concerning the sale of the duo.
Ancelotti was said to prefer the Argentinian winger, and so despite wanting to stay at Madrid, Ozil agreed to join Arsenal. The Ozil camp has spent the evening working out personal terms with the Gunners however any deal for di Maria is now off.
Di Maria initially seemed the more likely to leave the Bernabeu because of the threat posed by Gareth Bale on the wing. However Ozil’s €50million move to England means that Madrid have recouped enough of the world record fee paid for Bale, and have a sufficient squad, for Ancelotti to concentrate on the La Liga season.
Di Maria would have been an excellent addition to the squad however the Arsena; faithful are more than happy with Mesut Ozil.
